So for any of you who want to know a little about me and my ARS (Anime Rating System) here it is.
... I like anime. What else do you need to know?...
My scale goes from 1-10. So on this site half stars are odd numbers and full stars are even numbers. Easy enough deshou? I usually drop anything less than 6 if it didnt really give me any glimmer of hope that it might pick up within the next couple of episodes. If i rated it less that a 6 I HATED IT! A 6 would be ok... but generally not really worth watching.
7 (3.5 stars) would have to be I liked it and would possibly recommend it to someone depending on what else they liked.
8 (4 stars) would mean I thought it was an overall good anime, but also means i had a problem (or a few problems) with either the main character, some plot points, or I felt that something was left out.
9 (4.5 stars) means I loved the anime, but, like above, I had a slight problem with one thing.
10 (5 stars) means its an excellent anime and I have little to no gripes about it.
NOTE: I rate anime right after I finish the series, which means that the ratings I have reflect how I felt at the time. I may have a different opinion of it now (years later). I WILL NOT change the rating of an anime. Other than being very tedious this would defeat a rating system in the first place. I WILL ALSO NOT rate an anime if it is not finished because I rate the overall experience of the anime (including the time it took to watch and filler).
