I'll pretty much watch anything but I prefer the more serious, darker & broody Anime.

I live & work in England although I have spent time in Thailand, Mayalsia & Singapore. Just getting back into my Anime now after too much time apart. I graduated from Uni with a degree in History - possibly one of the most impractical subjects for day to day use in the modern working world .

Hobbies: Anime (duh), PC, PS2 & 3, Football (Soccer), Playing Guitar, Gym

Dislikes: Boybands, Reality TV, over-use of CGI by Hollywood

Fav Films: Gandhi, Monty Python & The Holy Grail, Rocky, Repo! The Genetic Opera

Kyo Kara Maoh! is great.  I laughed so much, I mean It does have its serious moments but all in all its funny.  I was looking thru your anime list and I noticed you like hayao miyazaki films. They really are great, he is amazing. Alrighty then, have a good day. bye

Off hand you seem suited for reviews... you should try writing one (for something not reviewed already in the site reviews section) and then post it in the "temp reviews" section of the forum :) (new thread if there isnt one yet, or existing one if there is one)... my site reviewers can give you feedback and then will let me know if they think you should be one of the chosen few :D

Hi dunky! I just have a few suggestions on your recs: first, I think they are a bit too long - if they were any longer, they'd be sent back for revisions. :) They are so well-written that I don't want to do that, so I thought I'd leave a comment instead. Secondly, instead of writing two paras on how the plots are similar, try to focus on *why* someone who likes one would like the other. I think the parallels between the stories will reveal themselves to the viewer (especially if they've already seen the first series).

Anyways, I hope these suggestions help. ^_^ Thanks for doing all of these recs, they are awesome.
