Ah man, this show makes me really happy, even though it'll probably take me half a year to get through the whole thing!

Are you watching the movie after you finish the series? I did them in reverse order, and was curious what effect it will have.

My ass...it was a failure from the start. Dude, cast aside the teary ending, the show completely lacked character development mainly because the mindless author presented a huge cast in just 13 ep and many plot holes were left uncleared. Even the author said that it was surprised of the succes of the series considering how many things were left uncleared and how many things the show lacked. Interesting...that's a very ambiguous term, everything is interesting, but in a bad or a good way. Angel Beats is definitely, in a bad way. A sequel might make me reconsider, but as it stands, is by far one of the worst anime Key ever gave, and P.A. Works pretty much failed with all of its shows until Hanasaku Iroha.
