Hello, yes.

Dude, let me tell you all about me. Because I love sharing info ... PERSONAL INFO .__.

A Virgo. Lawful Good/Neutral/Evil depending on my mood. Ravenclaw Apparently a Slytherin now.

Naruto fan through and through. Feels good, man.

All ratings are 90% personal enjoyment, 10% objective worth for the public. I don't care about how people at large care about a series. If I don't like it, I don't like it. That doesn't mean it will suck for everyone but if it does for me, it simply does for me. Your enjoyment of it shouldn't be threatened because of my ratings

As I've grown older I've become more discerning of what I want to read/watch, and what I don't. I have dropped many manga because they were too cliche or just weren't compelling enough to finish. I'm not someone who believes in finishing a series no matter what, with the two exceptions having been Soul Eater and Bleach. Still don't know why I even bothered to finish the former...

I like dubs, mostly.
I'm not some snooty person who thinks just because Japanese is the "original" language for the anime, the English version can never, ever hold a candle to it. Yeah usually English voice actors are recycled, but... Seriously, there are two voices for every female character in Japanese: Deep, rich, sexy succubus and high-pitched parakeet squawker.

If you look to your right of the screen you'll see an astonishing number of anime under "Won't Watch". I'm VERY picky about the anime I watch. Another reason why it's so high is that I have immediately put "Won't Watch" on all Sports and Mecha anime (except Gurren Lagann), as well as every single Movie or DVD Special for the other anime that I don't want to watch. It adds up, is what I'm saying. Anime I end do end liking are often left unfinished because I binge-watch and then burn out, with a handful of episodes left for me to leave hanging in suspension. I'm the same with TV shows and movies.

Here, have a gif

My most favorite genres and usually about all I watch are: Seinen, Psychological, Mature, Shonen, Shojo, and Horror..

The very first genres I go to for updates on manga sites are Horror, Seinen, Historical, and Yaoi. There can NEVER be enough Horror manga, NEVER EVER EVER. I also have found that I'm quite entertained by dance, fashion, and cooking - themed manga.

Least Favorite Tags/Subjects/Tropes: Gender Bender, Board Games, Reincarnation, Sports/Racing, Mechas, Sci-Fi, School Club, Harems, and Ecchi (but it really depends on the series and setting)

I also hate slow-paced things...I like things to start up pretty quickly, like within the first 3 episodes. First episode gets the show going?  Awesome!

Diabolik Lover's ending was so hilariously out of the blue, and yet it hints at the most horrible conclusion outside of her dying an unceremonious brutal death or dare I say... end up as one of Teddie's "playthings". I shudder at such a fate because that bear is the most soulless abomination out of any creature in that house. It's brave to watch something this terrible alone, especially with it's constant one-upitty nature. And did your friend see it to it's unsatisfying, yet miserable conclusion?

It's hard to do worse than this but this is definitely one of the worst adaptations of anything I've seen. How it's still above 1.5 is beyond me.

Diabolik Douchehat's hat was the only thing that wasn't instantly punchable about that smarmy bastard. One-Pants Leg was a total asshole, irregardless of which bro he was and Kimba-the-white-lion-bish, ohhohoho, what a fuckwad! He might have been the last one to tap dat but damn his blackened acursed soul to the deepest pits of Tartarus. If he is someone else, which might be possible, damn him all the same.

God I hated all of them.

You're a good person by spreading the plague about, and did you tell her how it just continued as a downward spiral of hateful douchedom?

Hi deidei, just a few reminders on things for character submissions - the 'main anime' or main manga is a required field :) also the image size guidelines have changed (and need to be much bigger now), also we haven't been accepting community character descriptions for awhile now due to staffing. Here's the guidelines thread for review:

Seen you tried a hand at reading Bleach. Suprised you actually made it to chapter 49 (which is ironically about how long the anime runs, story wise, minus 43% filler). I watched the entire animated adaptation on it. 0_o I can gladly say I had my fill of drinking Bleach for the rest of my life as well. While it was daunting at times, it had its good moments and a hand of charming, memorable characters, overall the whole thing was (and still is) ridiculously long.

Like any long shonen series (Naruton, One Penny, Detergent, Round Dragon Object XYZ) the longetivity is what kills those series for me. They run out of ideas pretty fast and just keep recycling the chiched stories to earn more buck. Can't blame them, money keeps the globe spinning because people keep buying them. Anyway ... kudos on plowing though both Bleach and Naruto, that is a feat I will never accomplish because they are too long.

Can I recommend you D.Grayman? I like it, personally, it's not getting produced at the rate that big titles. Which means little filler, more story. It has a lot of charm and is dark in a stylish sort of way. You will not go wrong by picking either the manga or anime, although the latter has ended because it got caught up with the manga chapters.
