I'm a 20-year-old guy from Europe and I enjoy watching anime, movies and playing video games. English is not my native language, so please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes in my reviews, blogs, etc.

When it comes to my anime history, I consider my first one to be Devil May Cry: The Animated Series.  I'm a huge fan of a PlayStation 2 title called Devil May Cry 3 and, at the time, was anticipating for Devil May Cry 4 to be released, so my friend and I ended up watching it. Even though I had seen various anime (such as Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh etc.)  in my childhood prior to that, they are not added to my Watched  list and I’m reluctant to call them “the first” anime I’ve seen due to the fact that at the time I was not aware of the concept of “anime” and referred to them as “cartoons” instead. I consider the DMC animated series to be a reference point in my life when it comes to me and my attitude towards anime, thus only anime watched after DMC is added in my Watched list.

From age 10 to 13 I didn't watch any anime or cartoons at all due to my belief that sort of media is childish and it would be juvenile for a person of my age to watch them. Devil May Cry changed this opinion and opened a never seen world before me called "anime".  The story telling, animation and violence both surprised and impressed me, so I decided to check out more of it. My second anime was Elfen Lied and after that came Death Note. Though Devil May Cry: The Animated Series is what initially peaked me interest, it’s both Elfen Lied and Death Note that completely sold me on the concept and both still are two of my favourite anime.

I dislike overrated and unnecessarily prolonged (milked) anime. Though surely, I might pick an anime to watch based on its popularity, I won't jump on the bandwagon and say that it's good just because everyone else seems to do so. I form my own opinions and I base my judgments on my own experience. I don’t expect people to necessarily agree with me, but I expect others to respect my opinions as I try to respect theirs.

Star rating represents my enjoyment of anime and not necessarily my "objective" opinion of it. So just because I’ve rated something 5 out of 5 stars doesn’t mean I think it’s perfect - it means I highly enjoyed it and would watch again. In my anime reviews, I try to give more „objective” ratings and always back them up with solid arguments. That being said, all reviews still are opinions and all opinions are subjective.

Feel free to ask me anything =)

I liked it very much, hence the 4.5 star rating! Now I haven't played the game, I haven't even touched it, but I did enjoyed it a lot for what it is. I really liked all the characters and I thought it was hilarious. So you never know, you might have liked it as well if you hadn't played the game. :D At least I did.

I've heard so much different opinions on the Persona 4 anime. I've heard that the anime follows the game pretty accurately, thus some people that have played it found it boring, since it's basically like watching someone play the game. But others love it. I dno... I love it anyway, it's hilarious if anything. :D I don't remember which episode it was, but the one where they supposedly got "drunk", omg I laughed my ass off to that episode. D;

It was pretty good actually, once it got going. I'm thinking of starting up Read or Die, not 100% sure yet though.

Ah, yes it's out in Japan. Comes out February 3rd here in Europe I think. I never obtained the platinum in FF13 myself, due to my previous PS3 getting the YLOD and I lost all my saves. Haven't been arsed to start over yet, lol. Haha, FF13 had some annoying characters, yes, nonetheless it's one of my favourite FFs despite everyone hating on it. I haven't played any Persona game, sadly. I'm watching the Persona 4 anime right now though, and I'm loving it actually.
