And as for the... whatever that previous review was... I was simply injecting a non-sequitur into a review of an anime that is obviously founded on that comedic principal. I wasn't attempting to "troll". It was amusing, the structure of the sentence itself is funny, and as you can see, Misaka down there found it amusing as well. I know you possess a sense of humor. Exercise it.
Aside from calling on one reviewer who doesn't resent watching anime in the last sentence of the post, where did I specifically target the reviewer and not the review itself? No where. Exit, stage left.
Also, lol, in response to your comment in here that I just read - if a user was posting similar statements about another user in their reviews, site reviewer or not, they'd get the same response and action. Scream censorship all you want, the goal of AP is a friendly place where people can voice opinions and have intelligent discussions with others. Comparing to ANN hurt no one's feelings, I care about how AP works, not how ANN works.
This is the second review in a row from this specific reviewer that you have posted something either attacking in regards to the reviewer, or meme/troll text. If you'd like, I'm happy to pull up the site announcement where I make it clear that review comments are for discussions about the anime themselves, not personally attacking the reviewers in question.
This isn't a suggestion, it's a requirement. You can choose to not listen to the requirement, and the response will be the removal of your ability to post comments in the reviews.
Opinions on the anime, discussion of the review's points (not the reviewer, the review's points) in a civilized way is welcomed here. Rants about reviewers are not. Let me know if you'd like me to find the thread for you.
Please regard the below comment as a threat by someone with "authority" to influence the opinions of a respondant in a veiled attempt at censorship. I voiced my opinion about a "review" and they interpreted it as "harassment" because it was in full disagreement with the "review". Hurt feelings must have surfaced when I compared the recent trend of reviews to Anime News Network's unwritten policy of doing nothing to encourage viewers to watch anime, but instead lambast shows that may be worth viewing. Of course, because the user who posted the comment has higher privledges on the site, the option to delete the comment is non-existant, even on your own profile. So nice of you to stop by.
