i'm not so good at writing about myself, but anyway
I live in right between groesbeck and mexia (with a silent 'x', and pronounced by locals as "my-hey-er), texas. I like to listen to old music(20's to 50s), love fencing (love one kind, not exactly fond of the other), and, of course, I LOVE anime (also like parenthesis).
again, not good at writing about me, so if you want to talk a bit just leave me a comment, or you could email me(bushd43@yahoo.com), but I dont check that as much as I should I check it 2 or 3 times a day. Back to anime:
if i rate a series with just half a star then it was the kind of thing a cow leaves in a pasture, and i DON'T mean footprints
one star would probably mean that it is NEVER to be watched, and i wish I would'nt have wasted my time watching it.
one and a half mean't that it wasn't good at all.
two stars means that it was better than a one and a half, but still not not good.
two and a half stars mean that it is at least Halfway decent, but not good.
three stars: perfectly average; not good, but not bad either.
three and a half stars: good, or at least better than average.
four stars: really good.
four and a half stars: almost perfect.
five stars: something so amazing that I'm completely insane about it.
I love series that make me bust out laughing, but can still be able to express deeper themes or be more serious at the same time.
(don't really keep track of manga, since I've read a lot more manga than I've watched anime...)

Yeah. I do apreciate the older titles, and do not get me wrong, I am not one of those who says only my era was the best.
But I do believe many anime fans are missing a lot of good titles by not looking to the past.
I mean just looking at your avatar lets me know you can appreciate something in the Tenchi-ElHazard era of titles. =)
