I first started watching anime on toonami after school, with a favorite being Dragon Ball Z. Back then I didn't really know what anime was. Toonami was the only time I watched anime until I went to college, where I was introduced to a few anime by some friends, and now I'm hooked for good.
I tend to identify really well with characters that are socially awkward because of my own social ineptitudes. Sawako from Kimi ni Todoke is a really good example.
I've watched a bunch of different genres, but I can't seem to find genres I don't like based on what I've watched.
I was the vice president of Indiana State's anime club last year, and I'm attending the university again in the fall.
Current Top 10 (in order): Spice and Wolf, Bunny Drop, Madoka Magica, Oreimo, Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son), One Week Friends, Steins;Gate, Clannad After Story, Nichijou, Kimi ni Todoke
