Hi,

I'm actually more of a tea person. I like to take photos of birds among other things. I live a modest life, happily getting by on a day-to-day basis. I've spent hundreds of hours travelling on trains. I am a music fan before anything and I also enjoy classic literature and foreign cinema. Food is also one of the best things in life.

I volunteer as a character and people moderator here on Anime-Planet so it's possible you're reading this because I left you a comment in regards to a submission.

I'm hoping to use the blog feature here more frequently in the future. I like to submit reviews when I can though I don't expect many to read them as they can be very long. I could make typing an Olympic sport.

My star ratings are based on a system of absolute jack shit.

Gokudo is the craziest show I have seen besides Puni Puni Poemy and Exel saga. Seeing all the crazy places that granny pops up is just hilarious. The Tiger Queen mother of the west thing was gold.

Hi there! Thank you for your review of Busou Renkin. I deliberated dropping it after the first episode because of how generic it seemed, so it's good to know I'm not going to be missing anything.

Also, it's nice to see someone share my hatred of Vampire Knight.

Thanks for responding my review of Sukikage Ran, though a bit harshly. I do understand the "slice of life" genre quite well, I just don't normally enjoy them the way I did that one. It got low marks from me because I usually want ... no more like DEMAND a good story to my anime favorites. SR was kind of an exception in that it had no plot being a slice of life and I STILL enjoyed it. I did score it lower than most would though because with a few minor exceptions, almost no anime gets a really high score from me without a good story to match those other elements. Though I must admit watching SR made me think twice before skipping anime labeled "slice of life" Had to sort through my won't watch list which is taking a while now lol. ;)
