My name's Mike. Unfortunately, I don't have any nicknames.

I live in a rural part of Indiana. Well, let's face it. ALL of Indiana is rural. But I live in the rural of the rural. The town I live in has a population of ~2,000. So being from a town as small as this, I naturally need to find a way to keep myself occupied. I'm not exactly a sports person, and I'm not exactly what you would call a social butterfly.

So that brings me to a big thing about me. I am a gamer. Not a console gamer, though. I used to be, but my PC has grown on me. That, and I don't have any of the next gen consoles. Anyways, I'm a huge RPG fan. Any game with that much substance to a game has my heart from the beginning. My second favorite genre would have to be FPSs, or First Person Shooters. Any kind of shooter except the military shooters are okay in my book. Oh, also Halo. That ran its welcome out after the second one.

Favorite games: Half Life series, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Team Fortress 2, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy (4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, and Tactics)

I'm a huge music buff. My tastes range from classic rock (AC/DC, Judas Priest), to acoustic (Andy Mckee, Antoine Dufour), to metal (Between the Buried and Me, Unearth), to electronic (Pretty Lights, Scooter). You won't find me anywhere without my iPod on my side. I play some instruments, but not very well. I play guitar, drums, a little piano, and I sing. I'm trying my hand at electronic music right now. I'm also pretty good with computers. I didn't find this out until a few years after I graduated. I didn't have the best grades in school, nor did I have the funds. So I didn't get to go to college, but here soon I'm hoping I can get in for Computer Information and Technologies. I hope to make a career out of it.
