Not a whole lot of general stuff to say really, I'm a web developer finally working at a real place after a few years of small business grunt work. Also pursuing a master's in math at WCSU.
Anime-wise, I tend to like the vast majority of what I watch, though I do steer clear of shows that are excessively ecchi, kiddy, or too far shoujo to work for me. My favorites are generally slower paced slice-of-life or mystery series, (particularly those with an intellectual side) as well as some dramas.
Aside from anime I (try to) do some console RPGs when I have the time, and play competitively in a small but awesome CCG called Universal Fighting System.
So far as a ratings system goes, I'm really, really bad at sticking with one system for any significant amount of time -.-' So its probably best not to pay them too much heed.
I'm also a moderator on the anime sections of the forums, and like to run various things there - the Anime Cultist Club, Annual Anime Awards, and other random contest-things.

just scrolling through profiles read the comment on Kemono no Souja Erin searched it sounds alright ima gunna start watching it and also wow i thaught i was getting somwhere hitting 2 months but 3 ooh il just have to watch more ill get there and to Omurqi you may have slow torrents but down where i live the fastest my internet goes is 156kbs its painfull i tell ya

I'll just watch it more or less along with you, at my own pace then ^_^ I'm going to keep it to torrenting, and at this rate, I probably can't start until coming weekend anyway.

I'm not sure how fast you want to plow through Kemono no Souja Erin, but if you're not planning a quick marathon, how about creating a FYAB group for it? I'm going to start watching it too this week in any case (although admittedly, I'm having problems finding fast torrents, the ones I have go excruciating slow).
