Just a random student at a little school in PA called Keystone Collge, majoring in IT... Aside from anime, I play JRPGs, UFS, Magic, fighters and follow baseball/football.
Anime-wise, I tend to like the vast majority of what I watch, though I do steer clear of shows that are excessively ecchi, kiddy, or too far shoujo to work for me. My favorites are generally slower paced slice-of-life or mystery series, (particularly those with an intellectual side) as well as some dramas.
I've yet to really get into manga, but am starting to put together a list of things to look into. If you're wondering why there are a bunch listed as stalled at nothing, I'm just using the status as a want-to-read for things that aren't yet available stateside. It seems kind of hard to stall a manga, after all.
I'm also a moderator on the anime sections of the forums, and like to run various things there - the Anime Cultist Club, Annual Anime Awards, List of the Week, and other random contest-things.

About my user reviews: They're pretty much a simple pros & cons format, but I use "why you should watch this" and "concerns" both because they're a little more open-ended, (can list things I might not have minded but others will, etc.) and in hopes of pushing myself into a somewhat more casual style -"pros" and "cons" as labels would be awfully dry. "PSAs" are just public-service-announcement types of things, in case there's something worth knowing going into a show. (odd episode lengths, relations, other random stuff)
Scoring-wise, I continue to fail at finding a system I like enough to keep for more than a month or two >.< Going to try and go back to basics with a simple 10-mark scale, using 6 as the baseline for "good" as opposed to 7.
In other words, even though 6/10 is a somewhat bad score for many people, on this scale it's a perfectly fine score. Heck, even a 4/10 means I liked the show to some extent. So it's a little unintuitive, but forcing all my good scores into the 7 and above range ends up making me use so many demarcations that I drive myself insane nitpicking at half and third-points -.-' Figured I'd try it like this for a bit and see how it goes.
Kurau and Speed Grapher both follow a pair of characters who are put on the run through no...

I assumed you had since I saw you rate it. XD. (My mistake, apologies.)
I have not played that game before.
I see. Well, I do not mind subtle. It is already on my want to watch, so I will look forward to seeing it.
Thank you.
Morning.
I just saw in the status thing that you finished watching Saki. How was it?
I heard that it has some shoujo-ai tendencies, and I need to confirm whether that is the case or not. :D
Let me know.
Happy birthday! Thanks for your Lists of the Week!
The name has been noted. :D
That is a lot of anime. Wow.
Sure sure. (We all have our little obsessions. :) )
Konnichiwa!
Bit late on responding on your blogcomment :P
Kannazuki is something I've been wanting to watch for a while, already dled it, and will definitely watch it when I'm up for my next love drama, but not yet.
Might give Turn A a try soon, just finished Gunbuster and I sort of liked it, so there might be a future for more mecha :P
Decided to go for CotS for Space Opera for now. Not too sure about Tytania, I'd rather watch something praised as good instead of something semi-obscure described as "just fine".
