Well hey there and Welcome to my page. I'm a total fan of Anime, the industry and the people in it.

Well I should tell you how I'm. I'm Cameron a fan of anime that lives in the State of Ohio. Ohio has a long history with Anime industry starting with the first anime to come to the states with Astro Boy in the 60's. A young man named Fred Lad convinced NBC along with Dr. Tezuca to bring this to America and that's how anime got a foot hold in America. Now on to me, I have lived in my hometown now for 18 plus years give or take a couple of months. My town is quite and nice but that's about it not much to do. The town is more a place to raise and take care of a family so its styled that way. I attuned all my education in this town from Elementary to High School. I graduated with a 3.00 and was 233 in a class of 600 plus. I know attend a local University called the University of Akron. I attend there for a degree of B.A. of Geology in Earth Science. It is a fun education path and a joy to do things in there. Geology is concreted to more than just rocks. It is tied to the oceans, biology and daily living. Right now in the fall of 08 I will be attending the school for my third full year. I hold a 2.8 GPA and have been mentioned for the Dean's list. I have many wonderful and great friends from school and love them all.

Now with that out of the way and tell you about my love of ANIME. I started watching it when I was 10 while visiting my father in California. My parents got devoiced when I was little so during the summer I would visit him for 6 weeks. While there he had cable so I would watch Toonomie which should some classic anime from the 90's primarily DragonBall Z, Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing. I fell in love with each one of these series and couldn't stop watching. As most anime fans I was ridiculed by my family and some of my friends. I first thought these to be cartoons. It wasn't until I got to collage that I discovered more anime and better anime. I first started out with Bleach. A wonderful show of swords, death, heart and love, I still watch every opportunity a new episode is released. I kept watching anime and I'm up to 90 plus shows in over a year. I also love listing to anime podcast two years ago I discovered RightStuf and AnimeToday. This podcast is great interviews, sales on anime and other great things. They also read fan reviews. I have been mentioind for my reviews of Gungrave, Marharobo, Gundam Wing the movie: Endless Waltz, and Vampire Hunter D: Blood lust. I hope to get more read.

My love for anime has also driven me to become the president of the University of Akron's Animation Association or Tri-A for short. I became a member last fall. Me and some of the other members have been increasing our member numbers though advertising and other things. I have only attended to Conventions in my whole life for anime. My first was a first time con called A and G Ohio. While there I got to meet Spike Spencer and Mike McFarland. Two wonderful people and great voice actors. My next was Cleveland Colossal Con of 08 or number 7. There I met Vic Magoina, Caitlin Glass and Aaron Dismuke. All were great to talk too and very kind and heartwarming people.

Now I have been a member of Anime-Planet for only six months and feel very at home here and welcomed by some of the other people on this site. I'm glad I found this site and all the people I talk too.
