To me, it looks like the 2009 Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya includes all the episodes of the 2006 show. That's the impression I got when I was glancing at the list of episodes on WIkipedia.
I originally had the 2006 show on my profile, but it stated 14 eps and I have 28 files so I'm guessing it's the 2009 version. I don't think I'm missing anything, it really seems like the show properly introduced itself.
At this point, I've seen:"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya I - VI""The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya""Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody""Mysterique Sign""Remote Island Syndome I""Remote Island Syndome II"
They've all seemed lin order, and I can't spot anything missing like I did when I watched the Kiddy Grade movies. The Kiddy Grade movies don't make sense unless you've watched the show.
Let me know if I should watch the episodes in a specific order or download the 2006 show.
