Story: The story was an interesting concept that knocked the shell of of the typical Magical girl genre. However because I was expecting it to be cute I guess it was a let down? On top of that the story was easy to follow the first half of the series then becaome a confusing hot mess by the end. I really had no idea what was going on.
Animation: The animation reminded me a lot of the Black Rock Shooter animation which I like. It's different than the norm and has an edge to it. It also had some futuristic concepts in it which I give points for creativity.
Sound: The sound was pretty much the same song over and over. While the song was nice it would've been nicer to have more of a variety. It reminded me of "A song of Storm and Fire" From Tsubasa Cronicles.
Characters: To be the strongest character in the show Madoka herself was weak. Though the character designs were great and I loved the costumes.
Music is made from Yuki Kajiura, who made the music in Tsubas Chronicles as well.
