Wow. It's been a long time since I've been on here. Now I gotta try and figure out how to work all the new features.
I'd like to say I've had an epic exciting life but not quite. I've started crew(rowing) as well as continuing to play softball and basketball(Note: I'm only 5'1 and 3/4).
I've gotten more into music though so I suppose that's exciting.
Artists: Rise Against, Rob Thomas/Matchbox 20, Three Days Grace, Evanescence, Gorillaz, Smudge, Tall Trees and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
Songs: Headlock (Imogen Heap), Feel Good Inc( Gorillaz), Exile Vilify (The National), The Thrill The Ride(Smudge), False Pretense (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), and the entire Bastion OST.
Lyrics: "I want you to know, that you've fallen through a hole in the sky, the strangers welcome you, as you lose your sanity they touch your soul." - Alice is Dead, Hania Lee
Portal, Portal 2, Minecraft, Resident Evil, Skyrim, Bastion and watching my friends play video games I'm too cheap to buy.
"What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal
worm? An idea. Resilient... highly contagious. Once an idea has taken
hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is
fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere." -Inception
“Life is a disease: sexually transmitted, and invariably fatal.”
― Neil Gaiman
“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”- Neil Gaiman
