Bored and waiting to finally call someone, so I thought I'd check out what you'd got up to since I left. Turns out I've been missing out - I haven't enjoyed reviews like your Ichigo 100% and Zero no Tsukaima ones for aaaaages. Thanks for the great read.
Japanese class is great!! I love it so much. I can now fairly proficiently read hiragana and katakana (not quite as good a hiragana), form basic sentences and have become the teacher's pet (first time in my life). We actually have a midterm tomorrow, but because my hobbies are like all involve Japanese, I don't really need to study. lol I have found that the Japanese Naruto volume Danielle gave me is really a great tool to practice my reading because it has the furigana. I also use a lot of magazine scans (originally save for the good-looking guys lol), but there is no furigana so it doesn't work as well. Sorry, I will stop bragging now. I gotta say though I have a heck of a time hearing double consonants.
I did go to NDK, but unfortunately didn't get to cosplay. T-T Some how I bought less and spent the same amount as last time. I did get the LoveCom live action movie only to discover that Viz also liscenced the Honey and Clover live action movie (has Sakurai Sho), so I bought that online. XDXD I am so happy now.
That's an update on my life. Other than that I have been studying (I have at least 1 test a week, but most of the time it's 2. good thing japanese doesn't require much studying), watching drama, and discovering other JE (Johnny's Entertainment) groups.
How's campus life for you? And you never told me what classes you're taking. How are those?
My major was History (kinda explains how all of my writing turns into reasoned analysis). I took an opera class on a whim and loved it (good professor).
First, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM CLIMBING! I love it, but it's murder on your hands, not your arms. Your fingers are highly-trained tools for communication. I don't doubt that they're strong, but climbing strips the skin off of them and causes some serious pain (at first).
Secondly, listen to your sempais (and I mean LISTEN), everything they're saying about school is true. Take classes based on the teaching faculty, and drink as much as you can.
That picture sums up Ichigo 100% for me. The only funny thing to come from it...
But what has fascinated me since the Eiken review is the number of people who watched it because of my words. A lot had watched it and hated it because of the gross breast size, but once they get past this and see it for an over the top parody, and its suddenly a massively enjoyable show.
If you want some good ecchi, I recommend Eiken, Ebichu and Golden Boy. All a little bit naughty, but some of the funniest shows going!
