im not sure where to start.

like attack on titan and Tokyo Goul, we have the teenage boy turns into monster cliche, with some different variations.

lets start with the characters. I'm a little thankful that the main leads character is unique compared to Tokyo ghoul, or else I would have stopped watching by the first episode.the main character whose name I can't remember has a an anti-hero personality, cold and calculating, yet not psychopathic. He has shown he has moral standards, though on the flip side he is a person who would do anything to keep himself from being captured. His boring outlook on wishing for a "peaceful life" contrasts with satou, the antagonist whose main motive is to have fun. I feel bad that I still remember satou's name but not the main character's. Satou's personality, on the other hand, is pure crazy, but hey some people say he is their favorite bad guy because of it. Nagai- now I remember his name, it's nagai- is not a psycho, I don't care what others might argue, but he isn't. At most he is a sociopath, and being a sociopath is not bad, I know a few myself and I found it refreshing that we have a main character when isn't an idiot hero. Nagai is a very human character who is smart yet morale and thinks for himself. The characterizations are the highlights of why they show is good. I personally found tosaki an annoying character along with his sidekick girl. We have scenes with them in it but not much characterization. That was annoying since it made tosaki seem to be a random guy wandering around the crime scenes. They were well explained later in the second season though.

 The animation took a while to get used to. It was like robots walking through a very very bad virtual reality at first to me, but that isn't the good part. The action scenes are typical gun fight scenes with super cool black ghosts that are indestructible. The color along with the action helps the mood defines the characters.
