UH.  Not much to say here.  I've watched a fair amount of anime.  My wife, bunnylovesanime, has watched MUCH more.  My hands down absolute favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but Cowboy Bebop runs a near second, and I've got a weak spot for Azumanga Daioh or pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away being my favorite of his works).  Mostly, I'm into shounen, but I steer pretty far clear of the low-end stuff like DMZ , Pokemon, or Gurren Lagann.  I like liberal amounts of action and humor, but am a well told story is a must.  I also tend to steer clear of the uber dark stuff, as I watch anime to escape, but there are occasional exceptions.

Um.  That is all for now.  Maybe more later.  :)

*edit*  I KNOW there are more older Anime's that I've watched (pre-1995 stuff), but it's been a WAY long time ago, and I just can't remember them well enough to add them my "watched" list.

So how have you been animemonkey?

Too funny. That's almost exactly the way it happens EVERY time. I didn't really mind DBZ that much. Dragonball was really great, especially the first few episodes. And I thought DBZ was solid up to the point that Goku became a super saiyan. After that it really went downhill.

I'm sure that if you worked at it a bit, you could be the next Fred Astaire. :)

Funny stuff, and yeah the similarities between Bleach and the hated DBZ hasn't escaped my notice.  Every fight sequence follows pretty much the same pattern.  Character A fights villain 1.  Character A initially does well.  Then Villain one says "I think I should tell you, I am not left handed" and begins to kick character A's butt.  Then Character A says "I am not left handed either!" and proceeds to do well again.  Suddenly villain 1 whips out their super secret something-or-other technique and probtly beginns kicking character A's butt again.  At this point Character A regains his self confidance (or whatever) and his power level goes TO 9000!  The Characters ass-kicking song begins and he promptly wins the battle.  Usually with each stage of this sequence requiring an entire episode.  It does get a bit old from time to time. :P

As for D&D and other such games, yeah I wasn't really one of those people who lets it consume them.  I never really read rulebooks in public or anything.  I just sort of enjoyed it as a Saturday activity (though probably more often that bunny would have liked).

Ballroom dancing, eh?  I am a hopeless dancer.  Bravo to you if you can pull it off.  When I try it, it just looks like I'm stomping around. :P

Just realized that video is a bit more explicit than I remembered. Hope that doesn't bother you too much.

Hi there, how is your day today, Mr. Monkeyman?

One of my best friends plays DnD, although I chose to not get into it. A lot of them print their rule books offline these days. They seriously spend days planning campaigns. Good lively people. though. I also get along well with hardcore video gamers and people in the sci-fi group. But the group that I really fell into in college is ballroom dancing. Although I haven't done as much this year, in the last two years I learned a lot about dancing and attended a lot of events.

Also here is a rather funny video. Show it to bunny, please, if you get a chance.

I hope you don't take it too seriously; I know you've been watching a lot of bleach lately.
