Well, I suppose you could call me a cheerful and naturally quirky 20-ish film student. I was actually raised without television throughout most of my childhood, but it all became moot when I discovered the internet somewhere around the tender age of twelve.

I've always loved comic books, but i was introduced to manga and anime in the midst of high school. I started with Juvenile Orion, Ceres, Fruits Basket, and went on from there.

I can be fairly picky about what I watch/read, but that's mostly based on if I think the premise sounds interesting. I wouldn't say I'm an impeccable judge of quality or anything... at least, not yet.

I don't have that many people to talk to in real life about my favorite series and such, so I welcome hellos and comments from folks here. So feel free to say hi!

As others have probably noted, favorite and least favorite genres can't really cover the width and breadth of one's tastes. I enjoy mixtures of fantasy, romance, action, adventure, sci-fi, drama, and comedy.  I'm not adverse to elements of horror, mystery, or magical girl. And just because something entails mecha, slice of life, or sports doesn't mean I won't give it a chance if the main idea fascinates me.  There are some category names in there that I don't even know the meaning of, but I'd be willing to try those too.

Howl's Moving Castle is such a great movie.  The book is good too, although I was suprised because the two are a lot more different than I expected.  (huh, that was an awkward sentence... more different, differenter...? >>; )  Either way, I loved Calcifer XD  It's hard to go wrong with Studio Ghibli movies.  I'd definitely recommend finishing up Spritied Away if you ever get the chance.  It's a goody.

Hello.  You said we can feel free to say hi, so I'm saying hi because you seem cool :B  Also, you have a Hetalia avatar and Hetalia is pretty darn sweet.  Especially Alfred.

I'm glad you like my reviews ^^. Hope they convinced you to give those titles a try, since in my opinion both are worth reading.
