I am enjoying it quite a bit, actually. I would have rated it higher if it didn't drag so much in places, and if it didn't keep recapping itself over and over and over.
I normally start with RightStuf as well, but I wanted to add Vengence of the Space Pirate to my current Harlock collection, and it's well out of print. Of course, even if it was still in print I don't think you'd ever convince any anime retailer with any dignity to stock it.
I picked up the ADV Nadia box sets (where they split the show in half and throw in the movie), the first 4 volumes of the Patlabor TV show (i.e. Cop sitcom with giant robots), the Arcadia of My Youth: Hackjob Dub Edition (It say's Vengence of the Space Pirate on the case, but I know it's REAL title), and the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy "box" (as in "as big as a regular DVD case") set; it's basically the TV show with all the fat trimmed and some of the QUALITY fixed.
Oh goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood :| (meant to be god, not good. NOT GOOD)
It was me taking one for the team as there was a really old character submission - the mods are trying to clear out the section. And the manga is because i turn into a raging perfectionist and want to fill in both at once usually when i do chars - i couldn't get far into the manga though to finish it.
would you believe that the anime is actually 5,000x worse than the manga? usually it's the reverse, where a manga will be borderline h/really explicit and the anime is way more tame. not in this case. that mangaka, regardless, immediately went into my hated people list :|

Sort of; I ordered through Amazon, but the Nadia sets came from RightStuf's Amazon account. That way I could pick up Ink and Dog Soldiers too.
