Erronious would refer to all the reviewers that started whining when, three episodes in, the series took a completely different turn. Different doesn't always mean good, mind you, but in a world filled with anime that have long, intricate, perforated plot lines that rarely make sense it's good to see a series take a turn towards smaller, loosely related story arcs. The one thing that has remained through all of the episodes so far is the "just above the diagonal" humor.
The first three episodes are there to set up the world as we know it: aliens live amongst us. One of them is a prince from a powerful race of aliens. He's an insidious genious, but also a self-absorbed prick. He has been set up as the leader of a group tasked with protecting the Earth, but it really just gives him a license to be a dick. There has been nothing I haven't liked about this show so far. The jokes are well written, the action cheesey enough to be a subtle joke in itself, and the emotional dramatic bits are clever setups for the best jokes down the line.
I definitely recommend this, and I'll keep up with it for the rest of the season at this point.
Chromatic Rangers Gooooooooo!
