I remember I was too nervous as heck and kinda ashamed as I was already like 30 years old and youngest new student was like 19 and straight from high school… :’) Ooow. : ( I hated math/physics/chemistry in grade school and high school as I’m worst at mathematical subjects. Just can’t wrap my head around math and numbers, my mom had to teach me about loan/ interest rate/etc math a night before my retake exam while I was in polytech so I could graduate someday as I failed first exam. XD Had to retake exams in high school also, I had too many failed courses. Luckily no moar math in uni.. .. Or I start to scream.
Yeah, three languages.. As Finland has two official languages, if you have had your education in Finnish, you have to take ”civil servant”/mandatory Swedish (I don’t know how to translate it really), without it you can never work for city/government/etc. Not sure if I ever want to work municipal or government work, but gotta study. I have already once studied and passed that freaking Swedish, but it was like 10 years ago, totally different field of study and university’s instructions for .. .. substitute that course with my previous one, were too complicated me to understand so I was HECK IT and now I’m back studying Swedish once more. I also have Academic English for Humanities courses (reading/commucations) and continuing Sámi also. Sámi is kinda minor I think as I don’t have anymore classes as mandatory, but I still want to learn it as much as possible. .. But I was glancing thru my schedule and I think they gonna go thru it as my enrolment to that class was accepted. Yay! :3
And oh, I enrolled one course like ”Introduction to Cultural anthropology and Archaeology” as my teacher recommended it like year ago, but stuff happened and never took any of those classes..
I messaged that teacher like two weeks ago, said they would check what’s wrong with it, I should get my credit marked as completed in May if that’s when I returned all my undone work, but still waiting for my credits. >: ( Gonna raise hell if I don’t get them, lol. I wish more classes would be just fail/pass but no. I don’t strive for perfection/grade 5, but I’m kinda disappointed when I get 3 as my grade. It’s still good and I COULD sometimes put more effort of my assignments, but mostly I struggle with ”Did I REALLY understand this?” stuff.
I started to color code my language notes, so I can find what I need better and faster. Vocabulary is like written in green and I underline verbs, grammar is in blue and text chapter in violet. Mainly because I had my unverline marker pens in those colors. XDDDDD I should organize my culture notes too and maybe rewrite them or at least some of them as I learn better when writing down stuff.
I actually started to play some gacha during summer holiday, totally hooked. XD Mainly playing Azur Lane, but also have FGO and Blue Archive. I also downloaded Honkai 3rd Impact, Nikke and Arknigts, but haven’t played them yet. I played Honkai on Steam but it gliched so badly that I never got it fixed and kinda annoyed to start over.. Nikke screamed network error everytime I tried to start and Arknights that I HAVE TO make account, tho I read you can play with guest account but my game had different opinion. XD

How you’ve been?
Holiday is ending and I’m back at Uni town.. Tho I still have no energy to even think about studying. Been lil bit ”sick” also, which may contribute to my lack of energy. Might have IBS, might not (healt nurse literally just googled it, so no official diagnose what sometimes is wrong with me, lol) But yeah, no more about that.
Multitasking is honestly the beeest ever, I’m watching like Two and a Half Man at the same time as I’m writing this. First seasons, I don’t later/last seasons when Sheen was replaced.
Red Dead Online is quite empty still, and I bet Rockstar will leave it that, since GTA online brings so much money. But events been pretty boring at GTA lately and like my other friend said, he has already everything at it, so no fun to play. He was always leader etc when doing club mission and such, so he got like 90% more money that me & other friend so we really don’t have everything yet. XD RDO ain’t too bad, I like just hunting and collecting stuff alone, and I run like a wind if I encounter other players. :’’’)
Yeah, living is becoming pretty expensive here too.. I’m not sure about student apartment rents, but I rent from private market and it’s still pretty cheap, if compared what apartment of this size would cost where I’m originally from. I still have some of student.. .. allowance? months, even I used lot of them during my previous school, so I can ”chill” this year with it and I’ll take out student loan so I can pay my rent. I don’t know about next year, if I have any more months left, but then I just have to go to work. No problems and I’m then at my third/maybe last year of bachelor’s degree/whatever this is called, so not that much of lessons, tho I have my thesis and internship then, so if I’m lucky I can find work where I perform my intership also.
I’m watching bunch of stuff from this current season, Zom:100 and Undead Murder Farce being my absolutely favorites. I tried to catch up girl who forgots her glasses and really, how many times you can forget them and/or break them??? When I watched two first episodes with some people (we dropped it as a group, I watch it alone XD) why can’t she buy like one pair for school? .. … Or multiple pairs, since she breaks them more than I change my socks. (Kinda joke, I mostly don’t wear socks when being home

Right now I’m playing Red Dead Redemption 2 / Red Dead Online, mostly by myself, sometimes with my two friends. They are like two of three people with who I’m willing to speak via microphone. Usually I don’t take my console with me when leaving for holiday, but it’s summer holiday now and I wanted to play. XD
Texting is waay more different than writing comments, lol. XD I prefer texting over calling ppl, mut I hate hate writing in different apps, excluding normal text messages or whatsapp.
I watched flash animations from Newgrounds, the best ever. :D:D:D:D Stuff like Madness Combat, and I nowadays follow its creator at Youtube. (And I must say, I suck using prepositions, so try to bear with me, mainly with in/on/at etc. They’ve been always my weakness with ”a”, ”an” and ”the” as such things don’t exist in Finnish, so I usually just.. .. Don’t use them at all. XDDDDD)
Yeah and coldness and temperature changes (and sauna..) causes redness and that’s why it’s kinda common in here. I could buy products which would reduce redness or such, but.. nah. It really doesn’t bother me much. Yet.
I’m already flipping here, as our guidelines are pretty messy, purely my opinion, and I hate unclear situations so.. Oh well, my classes don’t start until September, so I still have time to figure out what the heck I should do.
I’m usually always ”occupied” in Discord, I prefer to mute sounds, but for some reason, those settings always reset and I get mild heartattacks when somebody messages me, as I don’t recognize discord’s sound effects and I don’t expect sounds from it. :’D

Absolutely no worries about taking so long to reply, I figured out that you might be busy or something similar. :>
We are doing well. Or at least I think I am, can’t really say about my other family members, but what I’ve seen and heard, we are all doing fine. It really helped that I travelled to my parent’s place to spend my summer holiday, and not being all alone in my apartment. I really have to create new planning/scheduling system as I glanced new timetables that will start at September, I’m having like three languages this autumn and have to figure out what to do with minors and such. xD (One minor is one of those languages, but it’s kinda uncertain will they teach that course, since last time I checked it.. I was only one who sign up for it. <__<’’’’ )
Overall my school year ended.. .. I think well? Tho I haven’t still received any credits from one of courses, even tho I submitted my missing assignments by the end of May and even sent email to professor that I have submitted them. >: ( I don’t get any grade for that course, only ”Completed/fail” markings, so it won’t affect my overall grade but I’m still kinda annoyed. I need those credits to my degree, but oh well, I’m starting just my second year and won’t be graduating anytime soon, so I have time to bug that teacher.
THANK YOU. :33 I know it’s mid score, but I’m thinking about asking if I can try to raise my score/grade on next spring, when that language course is again.. I don’t wanna bother teacher too much and ask to try it during autumn when that course isn’t ongoing.. Or do nothing, I’m quite lazy person. XD I’m still kinda pissed off that I forgot even basic verbs and it’s language which is quite ”verb heavy”, way more verbs than in my native language. Congrats you too on your grades! I got one 4 too, was really surprised as I rushed all of homework and essays and course diarys as deadline was on same day as Eurovision Final, and I was going to watch it with my friend at her place and no way didn’t want to bring my laptop with me. XD So my planning.. .. Kinda failed, kinda not. I finished my course diary like no problems, but with essay and summary of chosen article.. I struggled a lot. Material/articles for them were in English but I had to write summary and essay in Finnish so I had to do huge amount of translating work so I was able to write at all. And as deadline approached I was kinda ffs, LET’S SKIP STUFF, but apparently I still wrote something reasonable. :’DDD
I just stalk couple of groups there and steal memes and stalk my relatives.. Tho I have bunch of friends/ acquaintances whose numbers I don’t have so Facebook is still quite useful if I wanna randomly talk with people. I have like under 20 numbers in my phone, and I could get rid of at least 5 of them no problem. Couple are like my old work agency numbers, I told them that don’t delete my profile yet, make it inactive, as I might come back during holidays and could work couple of shifts.. …. Didn’t do that this summer as it took pretty long to me decide when to come back home and such hassle so yeah. :D (If facebook would still have Farm Ville or anything like that, I’d be more active. I really like those games which you can play without thinking/you can destress and not think while playing. XD )
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead and Undead Murder Farce are my two favorites from this season, bummer that they delayed Zom’s next episode to next week, I hope production doesn’t break down and lead to more delays. ;( And no worries about late replies, just enjoy summer and prepare for the college. :> I also hope you’re doing well. ^___^

Yaki has been my Internet nickname since.. … Hmmm I guess since 2007 or something, I used to have Yakimura nick which I used, it shortened to Yaki and then when started making accounts to wolrdwide services/webpages it changed to Yakhio, since at the beginning Yaki was already taken somewhere, I don’t know where. :’’)
Unfortunately I have pigment in my skin – I may have couperosa skin, which in my case, means my cheeks and nose are prone to long-lasting redness and my acquaintance, who is cosmetologist, told me it’s quite common in Finland. I mostly have just slight blush on my cheeks, but my paleness just makes it more visible. :’D Couperosa skin is different than rosacea, I tried to google it but most links directed my to rosacea and I’m just ”Noo, I just have redness, nothing more. >: ( ” Lol
It would drive me to crazy if I don’t feel my keys or wallet in my pockets. I get paranoid if I have my stuff inside my backpack or bag and have to regularly check that I still have my stuff with me. I never have been victim of robbery nor lost anything valuable, but I’m pretty paranoid about losing my stuff.. Maybe it highlights now that I live so far away from my family so if I lose my stuff, I have to deal it by myself, lol.
My apartment is pretty quiet, I just hear thuds and talking only if ppl are talking at their balcony and I have my balcony door or window open or if they talk while being in stairway. Most of my neighbors which I have seen, are either middle-aged or elderly. Not so much kids/teens (I have seen like under 10 of them during one year) or I have always missed them. XD
Studied and studied, but yeah. :D I’m interested in so freaking many things, it’s so hard to concentrate on.. Even tho I already spoke to my teacher when I started that I maybe choose archeology as my minor, but now I’m second guessing myself.. .. I didn’t get any archeology classes last year as I had always something more important/etc going on when it was time to sign in for classes. <__< Couple of times I was nervous that will teacher let me in my major classes as I was like 21 of 20 who signed in and was lil bit late/extra student, but I got in all of them. During those times I didn’t have energy to think about my minor classes. Oh well.
Hmmm, maybe someday on Discord, but I don’t do voice chats. I kinda hate my voice and hate talking online to anyone (well, one of my friend and ex are exceptions) that I really don’t know.. And during last online classes before summer break, everytime our lecturer said that we will discuss something, I noped out there. :’’D

Yeah, I can get along with people, but if I have to deal with teenagers all the time.. .. Just no. Luckily I got my own rent apartment and didn't have to move in shared flat with other students who could be like 10 years younger than me. And I don't have to listen any parties or such, my residential area is next to graveyard so it's quite quiet. (As quiet as city can be lol)
I already have Bachelor's Degree from polytech/university of applied sciences and I think my degree translates as Business and administration. Lol I tried to spy from my previous school's website what it's called, but they have revamped bachelor degrees since my graduation so didn't find complete match anymore. <_<' And my diploma is at my place while I'm at my parents' place during summer holiday. xd But I studied stuff like IT and .. business economics I think, but waay more IT stuff than economics. Didn't find any jobs with my field, and after over 5 years without works from that field I said screw it and applied and got into University and now I'm studying in faculty of humanities, more closely Sami culture. So I totally switched my field.
Haha, only hairstylists dye my hair and I always go to the same saloon, and every stylist there know my hair and how annoyingly fast my hair grows so if I wanna keep my color and half buzz cut style, I "have" to go like every other or once in every three months. Tho now while studying I don't go that often, couple times in year, as I live across country now.

Oh really? I'm usually one of the oldest in my circles, half of my internet friends has always been year or several younger than me, my same age friends are months younger and now that I'm back to school.. ... I think I'm oldest in my major/institute who started last fall. Or at least oldest who doesn't do all of classes online. :') So it's super nice to hear for once that I'm not oldest. :3
Hahaha if I remember right, my dad started having grey hairs in his 30s, and according to my aunt (who might have been just teasing me) also mom got her first greys during 30s and I'm staring my reflection like "IS THAT GREY ONE OR IS IT JUST LIGHT COLORED HAIR????" I used to dye my hair almost every other month so I'm not really sure about my original color (which is quite basic light brown) :')

I'm doing fine. Now at least. There was sudden death in my among my close relatives, so it's been messy here. Which also explains again, why I replied later than intended. I catched up my schoolwork and next deadlines are "far away" on next month. I have already made some little time table like "Write few things on 25th, do this on 3rd" etc. But we'll see if I manage to follow my schedule thru, as I have already lost it when I tried to find other papers and had to move some other papers around. I prefer to write my notes by hand, I learn best that way, so I have already stack of unorganized papers around. :') Did you catch your schoolwork? Have you started new seasonal animes? It so, which ones are your faves? :>
I SOMEHOW MANAGED TO PULL THRU GRAMMAR AND LAST EXAM. I got pretty standard okayish grade, but I'm not sure if I'm totally happy with it. I got 3, while 5 is best, 1 worst, so it's strong middle, but it just frustrates me, that I literally forgot all basic verbs during exam and that of course effects my exam score and that effects my final grade. <__< Hahah don't worry, even I don't know my native languages grammar, I know basics and such as they are kinda drilled into you during grade school, but if I have to explain some stuff to foreign speakers, I'd be sooo doomed, 'cause I have no idea about grammar rules and such, lol.
I saw some of my relatives (mainly mom's cousins, since I don't have cousins at all from mother's side) at funeral. I think there's like me at the moment and only one of mom's cousins who have graduated from university and his wife too. Of course there's couple of ppl who have graduated from polytech/university of applied sciences (me being again one of them XD) so we don't have that kind of competition going on, I guess. But it's kinda same, since I was like "I want go to back school, yeah" and everyone else is having families and such. Bunch of relatives have summer cottage at same town that my grandma lives and my younger bro goes there live every other weekend, so he sees relatives like all the time, and so would I, if I visit there, but I'm not a fan. .. And now it's like on the other side of my country, so I see my other relatives like once a year. One of the reasons I still use Facebook, is that all of my mom's cousins and some of the aunts are there, so we all can stalk each other. XD
It's same here, in the morning there might be even sub-zero temperatures and during day, it rises and you don't need a jacket. Luckily I have only remote classes anymore, so I don't have to go outside during mornings so I don't have to think what the heck I should wear so I won't be cold or too hot. xD Tho weather forecast says there might be snowfall and ice on next week, but during spring, these forecasts always change like every other day, lol. My skin is waaay better now than during winter, I can stop using creams, yay. Mine was fine. Honestly I don't remember what I was doing, but perhaps just at home, watching anime or playing video games. XD I was my Easter holiday at my parents' house.. .. Welp, at home, it's still my home, mom even told me so during one phone call "YOU CAN ALWAYS COME HOME, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASK D::::" and I was "I'm being polite here, of course I know I can always come home (and I have keys anyways)", I just don't have my area's bus card activated anymore, so I need a lift from train station to home and we need to figure out schedules so I know which trains I cand buy my tickets. :'') But my Eater was just reading and reading so I passed my exam. :D

And as you might have guessed, my anti-procrastination plan haven't worked at all. Luckily I have now winter holiday this week and just few days ago I got email from one of my professors that classes doesn't start next week so I have one extra week to catch up. Mostly I'm just trying to ram grammar into my head. Or just to rewrite my grammar notes as I noticed during my last exam that I don't find stuff fast enough. :') (And maybe I'll learn something as I write stuff again / organize them better..) I like doing school work at library, but my friend had said that air inside is quite bad in that library, so I don't spend there hours.. Just couple at times. I haven't found anything in my uni's library but spend one afternoon at city's library and found manga section there.. ... And I have more than them hahaha.. ... But that's not really surprise. ''
Honestly.. ... I can't remember anymore. XD I think I watched Jujutsu Kaisen and while my lil bro haven't really watched it, he has watched all scenes that involves his fav character, so at least I was able to talk about those scenes with him. :') I think moslty they are younger than me, minus of course wife's parents, but wife and her sisters/brothers are younger than me, so..I didn't ask any ages, I don't even know their names. X'D "Excuse-moi, who are you and how old are you??" lol nope. Mom just introduced me like "Here's our daughter Yakhio (ofc not my real name), we really have one :')" since I'm pretty much absent at most of family gatherings.
It's been really cold couple of days here, but yes, soo much snoooow everywhere. It's not too dark and it's nice to walk around. March has been unusually cold and since I now live next to sea, wind is also shockingly cold. I had to start using face and hand creams, since wind/air also so freaking dry and not what I have been used to. But how was your Lunar New Year? I know, it's late question, but I still wanna know. :D

Thanks, it’s not so bad I think. I mean I’m multiple chapters behind in my language class, but I managed them. I use librarys books as my language schoolbooks must be ordered at certain institution and you just can’t walk to bookstore and buy them from shelves. :’) I want to write everything down in my notebooks, but been suuuuuper lazy about it, I always review what we will cover at each lesson and I translate chapters and such, but haven’t write down anything.. Oh well, I still have my holiday before classes will start. :’D New year and new attitude, I decided that after my classes are over of a day, I’d go to school library and work some of them immediately before going to home. Should decrease procrastination, as library that I use, has just course/nonfiction books, cna’t loiter around, hahaha. .. .. Or I haven’t really found anything else yet. XD
Christmas was okay I think? We spent it at my older younger brother’s place (I have two lil bros, I watch anime and go to trips with younger one. I bet I already have said this, but even my friends still confuse two of them. XDDDD) There were bunch of his wife’s relatives that I never have seen and I was polite and socialized. Or sat quietly on the couch, but I was present. XD Then we got back home at Boxing Day and that’s about it. I like being with other people moderately, but I need my own place after while aka my own room at my parents’ place. :’)
New Year was suprise, surprise rainy, but now we have more snow again. I checked my uni city’s weather and there’s been just like two days that were warm enough to snow to melt. Mostly just freezing temperatures, which is nice.
Hahah same. … I admit, I can be pretty messy, BUT I usually know were everything still is, and my games & mangas are always in neat order. Priorities, you see. XD Mom never cleaned my room for me, and I didn’t expect it, my choice to live amongst “filth” as she said. Mostly of “filth” is just my things all over the place, I don’t leave trash around. .. .. Unless it’s recipes, I go thru them before tossing them to trash. XD

Really long time no see. Over a month... I’m so sorry. <___< Schoolwork got me really badly. I’ve been usually a good student, but after so many years out of school, I really struggle with deadlines and such. It’s so difficult to write long essays, they used to be piece of cake for me. <_< But I’m still learning to set up proper schedule when it comes to homework. Oh well, now it’s Christmas holiday and I’m done for a while.
My life? Hmmm, nothing has really happened. I’m back at home, because of holidays (no way I’m gonna spend Christmas/New Year alone in my university town. :’) ) I’ve been hinting lil bit to my lil bro that he could arrange his winter holiday to same week when I have mine, so he could come and visit me. Or he could go to Lapland and still visit me, as I’m along the road, but he hasn’t made any plans yet. If nobody comes to the north, I have always possibility to come to south. If I buy my train tickets early and use “not so popular” traveling time, tickets can be pretty cheap, despite long trip. Now I took train that had 6 hours traveling time, last time I got tickets to train with lasted only little bit over 4 hours.
You got to another school? Congratulations! (Late I know XD) Yeah, procrastinating is my terrible enemy, I try to get control of it.. Yeah, open-book tests are best, I noticed that too. Luckily our final test of sámi language was also open-book, because our teacher just randomly told us “Oh btw, orthography of northern sámi is quite hard.” YES SO RIGHT. But I passed, mainly thanks to text books I think, so I can continue to follow-up course. :DDD
It’s raining again.. At least at my home town and it melts snow away. It has became common joke that there’s no white Christmas/it’s raining on Christmas eve or otherwise terrible weather and looks like this year ain’t exception. In Finland we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. I absolutely hate daylight saving time mainly summertime.. It takes away hour of my life, and it takes a week to my body and sleep schedule to adjust. T__T I prefer so much more standard time/wintertime. Yeah, I feel also that I can’t clean good enough, ‘cause I have little bit different standarts than my mom. Not that I want to live in pigsty, lol, but I’m not gonna lose my night’s sleep if I didn’t have to time or energy to vacuum corretly, I just sweep thru my little apartment and deal with vacuum some other day. XD I still have bunch of stuff in my moving boxes, mostly books and such important papers that I haven’t sortet out yet. Mom wanted me to take for example all of my income-tax cards and such, you never know IF I someday may need them during my uni. Yeah, my great-grandma is still alive, her birthday was on 30th November and she’s now 97 years old. I don’t keep very close contact with her anymore, of course I visit on holidays/mother’s days etc, but my mom and lil bro visit weekly. We are just pretty different, she likes to talk old good days and reminisce old movies and celebrities and I know nothing of them, my lil bro is almost expert. One cookbook that I have, utilises convenience foods in its recipes, it’s for busy people, lol. Like “For this meatball soup, buy meatballs from grocery store, to save some time” XDD
I think they have some clubs, like art.. .. circle? Club? Gathers every Wednesday at xx Cafe, I think they have also role-playing game club, but I still haven’t contact them about joining. I’m never at Uni when they have their weekly meetings so I just always forgot to go & join them, lol.. I really should look them thru again, I did glance them over (they are listed on one website), but some of them had their websites down, so I wasn’t sure are they closed down or not. :’) Some clubs just say you need to be adult to join (or your parent’s permission) and pay small membership fee. Don’t even have to me student at my Uni. I think? But I really should look them again, maybe they have fixed their websites. Hmmm, we have like four .. .. study periods? I really don’t know how to explain it, or does it have some cool name in English.’’ First one was from end of August, to end of October, second one started after autumn holiday like 31st of October and ended on.. .. I’m not sure, I had my last exman on 15th but I don’t know if some other exam were held later. XD Next one techincally starts 1st of January, but I have my first classes on 9th, but I have to skip my entire first week of third period as I have irreversible stuff to do at my home town. I have mailed half of my teachers sorryyy, I’m not gonna make it to first lessons, but I’m still coming, don’t remove my name from participant list yet. XD I just try to focus and get my mandatory culture and language classes out of my way during this first year, then I can take optional classes. (I can take them now too, but I can’t just decide..!) Long time no see, as I've been also busy. Lol, no worries, it's actually same here, when you initially posted your comment, I was visiting my friend's place and didn't have time to respond and after that weekend, my homework just kept piling up (I still have loads and loads of notes and esseys and lesson journals to write as I haven't started anything during my courses...) and now despite of that terrible workload, I have now my autumn holiday, so I have little bit time to fiiiinallyyyy answer, I don't have any classes now. x) Still have to write tons of stuff, but they are due on November.
I bet you have already finished all of your esseys, as they were due last month? Unless I misinterpret and they are due at end of this month. How they went? I mean, I just had my language exam yesterday and even tho we were allowed to use all of our materials as it was remote exam and we sent our answers to our lecturer via email (she told us many time we are allowed to use materials so I didn't broke any rules, my dad wasn't really convinced at first, lol), I still feel like I got nothing right and I did pretty terrible job.
Thunder season has ended, as we usually get thunders only during summer, now we are just waiting for winter and snow. Or at least I am waiting. x) I don't mind autumn and raining or that days are getting shorter and darker, I just hate leaves falling down and will stick on a sidewalks and they get slippery and I have to walk carefully so I don't fall myself, haha. I like rain so I don't mind it but everyone else seems like "eew it's cold and wet" and I'm Nooo it's chilly and nice and I don't die of heatstroke. :') I just carried my electric fan etc. inside my walk-in wardrobe as I hope I don't need it before next summer.
I know what you mean, I have had couple of "meltdowns" when I have felt that I'm not able to live alone. Mostly just ranting and quietly crying that I'm not cut for this, living alone is too hard, but then I just go to sleep, and after I'm just like "Oh, why the hell I was crying or ranting, I absolutely can handle this. U__u " Sure I know how to pay the bills, cleaning, little bit cooking and such, but I have never been a tenant, so I'm still trying to grasp which ones are my responsibilities and which ones are not. Luckily my landlord seems really nice and told me that I can always call and ask if I have questions even with my university as he had been attending same himself. Not same major, but knows about procedures and such. About cooking, I'm now going thru my late grandmother's and my great-grandmother's (still alive) cookbooks and deciding which ones I want to take with me. One book is over 60 years old so I bet I can find simple and cheap recipes there as prices are higher and higher. Like with manga, I like to have physical books, tho I also google recipes based on what I have in my pantry. x)
Yeah my classes started beginning of September and two of my courses have already ended. Second period starts after my holiday and I have couple of classes there, maybe more if I can find something interesting to add my timetable. I'm focusing to my mandatory courses during my first year, so I'm still pretty "lost" with optional stuff.

I hope you're doing well too. ~ My major is something pretty odd and "unknown" as only under 10 people were chosen to study it: Saami Culture. (Sámi people) I don't have any heritage/parentage or connections to them, but I just find language(s) and culture so fascinating. And they really don't teach about them in our schools and if they do, it's outdated and stereotypical information. When I tried to get into University right after high school, I applied to East Asian and Japanese language/culture major but entrance exams where.. Hell. xD I now prefer keep Japanese stuff as my hobby.

And now they are once again BEWARE, THERE'S GONNA BE LOTS OF RAIN AND THUNDER. And I really hate/I'm scared of thunder. Maybe I just hide in my bathroom, since there's no windows and I can't see lightning. Lightning is the worse, I can tolerate thunder's rumble.
My mom tolerates my hobbies, but I sometimes get little remarks from her. Sometimes asks me ain't it little bit childish to collect my little pony toys but at the same time, if she visits second hand shops etc without me, she sends me pictures of ponies that are they real, should she buy them. :') Dad is just whatever makes you happy, as he himself has two old American cars as hobby. XD
Hmmm.. I haven't really got birthday presents recently, I always ask what I want during Christmas, as my birthday is almost immediately in January. x) But usually I prefer gift cards, as I can be very picky when it comes to clothing or anything else. They usually don't buy me manga, unless I ask some specific volumes, since my collection is so freakishly vast and they just really don't know what I already have. One year I didn't have time to answer my lil bro's call and when I called him back he was just "Oh, I tried to call you as I was at your manga shop and I bought you something for Christmas" And I had to wait till Eve to find out what and hope that it wasn't something that I already had. It wasn't. XD I still need some of stuff to my new home, so if I don't have time or money to get those during this year, I just ask could I get them as Christmas or birthday presents. (I just need sandwich grill and waffle iron)
Yea, I feel pretty safe here. My aunt's husband was like "How can you survive, since there's violence and drugs roaming around streets of this city.." (where isn't nowadays?) and I'm like, I asked recommendations which neighbourhoods are nice/not so nice and didn't even look at apartments in those not so nice neighbourhoods. Rent.. dealer(?) said this was pretty peaceful apartment building, so did my landlord. Yes, I hear stomping and such noices from neighbours, but that's normal. Tho I live preeetty close to city's prison so police is close if I ever need one. XD

Long time no see, or comment. I know I know, it's me who hasn't write, but things been hectic. :'') I finally moved during this weekend and I have now about a week before first week of University starts.
So how was your exams overall? :) I must admit, I was pretty lazy back in school and didn't really study and NOW it's been bothering me, I know some of my grades really don't match to my know-how, but what ya can do? I graduate from high school like 2011. :'DDDD
Speaking of rain again.. From where I moved, it's been so little rain during this whole summer, part of our lawn has already burned.. And now where I live, everything is so green, no burned lawns or anything and this city flooded on last Tueday and they had to close some underpasses as there was just too much water. Thank god I didn't try to move then, you need to drive thru underpass to get at my aparment building and I bet it was one of those that were closed. XD But +30°C weather is back and I absolutely hate it. It's not fun anymore. <____< (I think I said that like a month ago, so no it's still not fun)
Hahaha actually, I had to leave all of my mangas back home, I just didn't have time to go thru all of them and pick ones that I like to have with me.. Tho I have list and I packed some of them, but left them behind. I thought it wouldn't be nice to have for example only volumes 20, 22 and 23 from Demon Slayer as they were only ones that I had time to find. XDD so I really reaaally hope that mom doesn't go thru my manga boxes. Tho one time when I was on road trip with my lil bro, she called/texted me that there's some mangas on sale on one flea market, should she buy them for me. And when she sent me pictures, it was bunch of yaoi. And I was OF COURSE, PLZ BUY THEM. I don't know (and didn't dare to ask) if she looked thru them. :'DD I generally really don't lend my stuff to anyone anymore, besides my lil bro, as when I was on 6th grade, I lend my extended dvdbox of LotR Return of the King to my friend circle, they ruined the cover (it wasn't hardcover so corners are pretty worn out and just looking terrible) and one of my friends thought it would be funny to give that dvdbox back to me as a Christmas present. My freaking own dvdbox. <___< So no, I don't lend stuff anymore. When I get some of my mangas here, my bestie could be exception, but we'll see..
Couple of neighbours has already greeted me and one of them even helped my mom to carry my bed, since it didn't fit inside of elevator. I didn't have strength to carry it with my mom to 5th floor. We couldn't thank enough that neighbor but they were just like "Nono no no worries, welcome to the house" and I said to my mom that's people are being suspiciously friendly. Mom just laughed as she knew I was half-joking and kinda unsocial person.

It's been a lot lot looot cooler here too now. AND FINALLY IT'S RAINING. Not all the time, but better than none. Our lawn has been ugly as some of it has already scorched from green to yellow so these cooler days helps it too. Nothing serious, but not pleasant to eyes, and I love to open my window and listening sound of rain (but not thunder, I'm terrified of thunder) You're right, forcing yourself to to something ain't no fun. Even when it's usually something fun. :<
People have been warning me about Bunny Drop, yeah. XD My "read" list is more "What I own" list since as I said before, I can't buy some of my mangas in numerical order so I haven't read like 2/3 of my collection. And probably won't read my collection as I can't take it with me. I've been thinking about leaving for example my Berserk mangas and Goblin Slayer light novels to home so my lil bro can loan and read them as he will anyway visit regularly our parents. He comes already at least once a week here so I bet it won't be any diffrent when I move out. I just won't be here. As my room will become guest room, and if I can store my mangas there, I think I have to take any... .. mature stuff with me. XD So guests won't become distraught if they decide to snoop around book shelf. Tho it would be funny to see faces if somebody some day finds my yaoi collection. XDDD
Actually I have two lil bros, but I'm not that close to older one. Not that we don't get along, we get, but we just don't have too much in common. And he lives in different county so he don't visit with his family too often. But with younger one we have good relationship. (Younger one is little under three years younger than me, older one year younger) If I want to go to capital to go shopping, I usually will call him and ask if he wants to come with me. He'll ask if I wanted to come with him to certain shops and so on. I got him to go movies with me to watch Demon Slayer's Mugen Train when he hadn't watch any episodes (he liked it) and we went to watch Jujutsu Kaisen movie too together. Couple of times we have coordinated our summer holidays so we could go together to Lapland for example. We do sometimes get each others' nerves, but nothing too serious. I think he's been lil bit annoyed with me right now as I've been asking him to finish Elden Ring which I loaned to him, as I want to take all of my games and consoles with me when my move comes. XD He has already promised to visit me, but I think he's just happy that he won't have to pay for hotels. XDDDD
Overlord season 4 is only summer anime that I'm NOW watching and surprise, I'm watching it with my bro until my move happens. The Devil is Part-Timer season 2 is also one that I will watch at some point, I just have to watch first season before it. I have it on dvd so it's just when I have energy to open its case and put it in player. But then again, it's something that my bro COULD be enjoying or not so we'll see.. XD

My other hobbies include collection tons of unnecessary junk. Just kidding, I collect anime figures (Limited to my fave shows/franchises), Pokémon cards, Monster High dolls, My Little Pony toys.. I like to visit national parks with my lil bro, photographing.. Used to draw, but nowadays I'm pretty unactive with that. I also play videogames with PS4 (Tho I have gaming laptop, I still prefer ps4) I like to watch birds/animal and I used to have annual card to capital's Zoo, but as I'm moving I didn't renew it. Idk can I call it as hobby? :D I also have text based roleplay with my friend that's been running like 11/12 years so writing is kinda also my hobby. And one of my newest passion is Formula 1. Used to think is boring as hell but now been watching previous two season with my dad, and I'm kinda sad that I have to watch them alone from now on. And I have to myself pay subs to channels. XD I think I might start playing Genshin Impact and one of my current co-workers said if I get it working before I end my working contract, she'd like to add me. XD I work as agency worker, so I don't have any two week notices etc. My manager from grocery store just said if I can say week before that I won't come anymore, it's ok and then I just have to call my temp agency that I'm terminate my contract, but I'd like to have apartment ready before I do that, but we'll see. Lol that wasn't hobby, but I started to ramble. XD
Yeaah, still no apartment. Tho I still have like four active application right now, so I really hope I will land one of those falts.. Sure we have dorms /shared flats for students, but we are not required to live in them. They will be my last option as I'm "so old", I don't feel that comfortable to move in shared flat, since I assume that other flat mates can be as young as 18 years old. (I was 19 years old when I finished high school for contex) I like to keep myself and never been really social butterlfy nor party person so I prefer peace. xD Yup, I'll be first year and yeah, I'm old as owl. Actually I already have bachelor's degree from polytech/university of applied sciences but I really hated my time at that school and haven't had job in my field of study. Let me link wiki article, since I know these terms can vary depending on country. University of Applied Sciences Finland It's been always my dream to study at university and after high school I tried to get in different one, but no luck (no luck at all, I had to have a gap year as I didn't get to any schools, I got to polytech after that year when I was 20..) I thought I knew what I wanted to do in my life, but wasn't really happy with my bachelor's degree and as I'm already 30 years old, I decided HECK LET'S TRY GET IN and boom, I got accepted thru entrance exams. :) Generally, I just have had pretty bad luck with schools and jobs, I have once even left my contact info to telemarketing company when they asked, but they never contacted me back.. XD

Good thing is that after I started using eye drops, no more aching in my eyes/head. Been playing less my PlayStation and not so much on computer, which I HOPE has helped too. Sometimes eyes feel still little bit odd, but it could be heat wave here. It's been almost +30°C every day here and I really can't do anything/sleep wll enough when it's over +25. I lost my will do to anything and I'm just very veeery pissed off, lol. :'''D

Yes, you are absolutely right. I am lazy as.. ... sloth when it comes to ratings. I USED to rate my animes when I started watching (around 2006 summer I think?) I didn't use this site then, but one Finnish site. It didn't have any comment/chat feature, just ability to add animes to your list and rate them/leave little comment. After while I think I was "Why bother, nobody's gonna care what I think about XX or I rated something YY." So I deleted all my ratings and comments and when I started to use this site, I already had quite long list so I never bothered to think new ratings. Usually if I like anime enough, I try to buy original source if it has English release. I just give 5 stars to my absolute favorites/masterpieces... And most of times, I don't bother to rate those. Like I absolutely adore Kimetsu no Yaiba, but only rated Mugen Train movie, 'cause.. ... ... Laaaazineeeess ♬ So no worries, no offence taken. :) And don't worry about recs, I watch pretty much everything. Even bad ones, 'cause I'm too stubborn and will watch anime to end if I have already started it. x''D
Regarding Bunny Drop.. I already have the manga. *Le gasp* I got it for few euros from an antiquarian bookshop so I couldn't left it there. xD I know about controversy of manga's ending so I won't read it until I have watched anime first. u__u Assassination Classroom and Monster are ones that I will watch with my lil bro, but can't say when our schedules allow that.. And now that I'm moving like roughly almost 600kms away.. Well, he promised that he'd visit me and ofc I'll come back home during holidays, so I can't promise when I have a change to watch those.. .. Of course I can watch them by myself, but.. :( I've been meaning to watch new Fruits Basket, since I watched original one like.. ... .... Over 10 years ago, I knew back then that ending wasn't like that in manga. No no no, it's not too much! I bet everyone of those are on my want to watch list as I have separate word document and haven't bother to check which ones are also on my want to watch list here. :') It's from era of that Finnish site that I mentioned, there wasn't any want to watch list in your profile so I created one in word. :D I'll let you know what I think of those when I got time to watch 'em.

Animals, lol. I so so feel you with Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. I can't watch Jujutsu Kaisen, because I know my bro wants to watch it too and we planned watching it after we finished Demon Slayer, which we now have, but my moving is also approaching. I have tried to read manga couple of times from online, but it's just not my cup of tea. I really prefer to have physical copies in my heads so I can read them whenever I want, and I don't have to endure any network issues/maintenance/etc. I'm kinda oldschool, lol I know. You can always rec me stuff, I read when I have time. :) And if my eyes are really just irritated/dry, drops should work just fine and I don't have to limited my screen times anymore. We'll see.

Again, sorry for the late reply! During last Sunday, something hmm.. I even don’t know, I was watching some movies when suddenly my head and eyes started hurt really badly and painkillers didn’t really work at the time. It continued thru Monday and finally died down, but my eyes’ been itchy, feeling tired/like I’ve been crying 24/7 etc. I’ve been reducing my time on computer/gaming/staring at screens. We don’t know if it was a migraine (never been diagnosed, but mom has it) or just some oversensitivity/allergic reaction to pollen or if my eyes are just too damn irritated/tired/etc. <____< Taking now annoying eye drops to see if they are just irritated so I wouldn’t have to go to check my eyes, as it’s expensive and I don’t really wanna as I don’t have any problems with my sight, lol.. (of couse, if drops don’t help, then I’ll go.) So I’m pretty sure, I’ll answer to your next reply late again, because I’m not here every day right now. So I apologize ahead of time now. I’m sorry for my future late replies! :’)
Well, I started reading/buying/collecting manga in 2006, so I have had maaaaany years to grow my collection. I also buy a lot from thrift shops/facebook’s anime&manga groups and I utilize monthly sales from my regular manga shop. :D I mostly buy English releases as my country is so small market, there isn’t too much series which to buy. I also buy now when I can, I just got yesterday accepted into University, so I have to figure out my finances and such, maybe I have to stop buying manga at least for a while. English releases are even more expensive here. .___. Tho what irks me too much is, that I have at least dozen of series which are missing one or two volumes and mostly they are out of print adsasfagaga. Like I don’t have last volume of Othello, Dance in the Vampire Bund is missing like volumes 6 and 10 from middle and so on. <___<
No need to rush, watch them when you have time. ^___^ Actually no, I haven’t seen ‘’How to Keep a Mummy”, I almost started it when it aired, but my watching list has been too crowded for years, so didn’t have energy back then. It’s definitely on my want to watch list and maybe after I have completed bunch of my older shows, is its turn. It could take some time tho, as I try not to strain my eyes too much. Noo, you didn’t ask any manga recs yet. And to be honest, I haven’t read like 2/3 of my collection, because I buy them in irregular order, and with whole bookshelf broken down I had to just quickly empty half of it and shovel books to boxes so shelf wouldn’t fall apart middle of night and now there are soooo disorganized. But here’s some mangas that I’m currently enjoying and been able to buy numerical order:
Heaven's Design Team: Shortly, it’s about designing animals lol. It is pretty educational (I love those types of mangas/animes), lighthearted and episodic. There’s no deep storyline, but that fits me perfectly, as I’m reading Berserk at the same time and I need something more light and fun to counterbalance it. :’) And I’m not sure should I rec Berserk, as it’s so freaking legendary, but it’s so so so so dark and disturbing at times.
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun: I’m little bit hesitant to rec this one, as both anime and manga are in your stalled list, but gosh, I just adore the art style and it seems just to be lighthearted story, but looks can be deceiving, like my watched animalist. :’) If it isn’t your cup of tea, no pressure to go back to it, we all have our favorites and dislikes, and it’s one of mine. ^_^
The Way of the Househusband: For some reason, this cracks me every time I read it. It’s about notorious Yakuza who.. well, turned into a househusband and does his daily activities like cooking and shopping while looking like scary criminal. And that’s pretty much it. You’ll get the general idea from first chapter. Also I get told that I'm looking angry half of the time/I have resting bitch face, so I little bit relate. Tho I don't look like criminal hahaha.
Hmm, maybe most of my ecchi mangas are really my regrets; I’m not really a fan of that particular genre. Some of them came with good ones tho so I just bought all of them. For example Strawberry 100% and I’’s came together with Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and I really wanted the latter one so I bought whole package from private seller on facebook’s market place. Sure it was really _REALLY_ cheap so I didn’t mind but I wouldn’t buy those two from shop myself. They can stay in my collection for now at least. :’’’)
