Thanks for the heads up on Koi Koi 7... yeah, I'm not fond of non sensical shows. Guess I will check out the first episode or two if and when I get round to watching that show.

More importantly the summer season has just started!

Although the list of shows is much smaller than the spring there are definitely a few must watch anime. The third season of Zero no Tsukaima and Sekirei are two that jump to mind. :)

      Take it easy!

Hi Mate! Glad to hear you enjoyed I's Pure as much as I did! I knew you would like it.

So in order to decide what to watch next I checked out your top 20 and saw I still had not seen Eureka 7. So right now I am watching that... and should have it finished either today or tomorrow.

I'm also watching Witchblade, which has been on my stalled list for a long time... and is okay so far but of course there are others I want to move on to.

That aside right now I am playing the awesome Metal Gear Solid 4!! :)

      Have a great July 4th!

There are absolutely no references to Da Capo in Da Capo II. That aside only in the first episode the lead male character uses "magic" to make a japanese sweet in his hand. This is not explained and best described as a nod to the first series for those who watched it. Also the school principal in II is a character from the first show - but if you didn't know that it would make no difference. Last point, this is a show I think you will like... but is definitely not a high priority must-see.

Just a quick one... remember I was watching Da Capo?

      So here is the breakdown...

Da Capo (Okay, decent romance, very 'magic' oriented)

Da Capo Second Season (Similar to season 1, again very magic oriented)

Da Capo II [New Story & characters] (Decent romance, no magic, I definited enjoyed this more)

Da Capo II Second Season (Going to start this weekend)
