Introductions you say? Very well then; I will entertain your curiosity for a bit. I am Danny. Just Danny. Originally I registered here at the request of a...friend for reasons I care not to remember, but the site turned out to be fairly useful for tracking various anime and I have decided to stay here for the time being. For one of such terrible memory as myself, a site like this which offers ways to not only track my watched anime, but anime I want to watch has become invaluable to me.
My bio got butchered in multiple places for some reason I don't feel like completely remaking it.
Putting aside basic introductions for now, I will move on to anime talk. My favorite genre are Romantic Comedies, followed by Romance, Comedy, and Action/Adventure (I know there are more proper terms for these.) I tend to watch anime based on the cover image followed by the description of the anime itself, though the recent decline in what I would consider "good anime" has more or less forced me to go outside my normal standards for anime in order to not completely lose interest. That being said, I am still fairly picky about what I do and don't watch. I tend to be a bit of a harsh critic when I rate finished anime; every flaw and strength I take notice of is taken into account.
Basic general interests are: Video games, anime, occasionally writing, listening to the ocean's waves (seagulls are a nice bonus), and people who don't constantly use chatspeak because it annoys me for some reason. Get off my lawn. Sorry, that was stupid.
I would consider myself fairly shy in nature and not typically willing to open up to or seek out friendship in others, which automatically means I am an antisocial monster. In the off chance that I do "click" with someone though, I would like to think that you will find me very pleasant to be around. To those I truly feel I can open up to, I like to make them laugh and really try to make conversations enjoyable (usually in the form of dry humor), but I'm a completely different person to anyone else. Straight to the point, serious, completely unwilling to open up about just about anything, very honest to the point where it comes off as rude...unintentionally. No I don't have a multiple personality disorder; I'm just complex like humans usually are.

Hey i've just come back from my 3month first semester ^^

I noticed that too, even the regular cast members sounded bad. Normally you'd think a movie would have higher production values tha a TV show, or at least equal, not vastly inferior... I guess they didn't learn from Kanon 2002.
I dont go around and add ppl anymore haha... What virus? I m just bored lol just woke up from nap studpid alarm didnt wake me up urggggggggg lol
Well I watched it after the tv series and found it severly worse in almost every way. The animation was weak (character designs were horribly off-model), the comedy wasn't funny, and side characters were arbitrarly cut or reduced. Most importantly the KEY event, the dramatic climax....isn't even shown... They also changed the illusionary world so that it was Tomoya narrating (WTH) and I hated the voice actor Toei used for him.
It probably isn't THAT bad, but going into it after seeing and absolutly adoring KyoAni's work, it made the changes and poor design choices just that much more jarring and even slightly personal. It's almost like playing Far Cry 2 and then watching the Uwe Boll Farcry...ugh.
lolol yeah, 3 months is too long, but i guess near the END of the 3months, when exams hit then i truly wont be on here. But hey, after that, its ANIME TIME (for a month! XD)
Yeah long breaks in uni, but less assignments to crank out... seems like a fair trade.
Coz it would suck having to do tonnes of assignments AT uni, coz then i gotta be typing on my laptop and not my comfy home com, and i dont have all my textbooks (coz no way in hell im gonna bring ALL THOSE tomes with me DX)
Haha yeha, i had thought about pulling out my laptop and watching anime in the line, but then i thought "nah, anime isn't a socially-accepted hobby in this country" lol
