Welcome to my profile, fellow anime fan. My avatar and signature depict Jomy and Soldier Blue from Toward the Terra TV, an outstanding sci-fi. I’m a BA Politics graduate with big dreams of working for an international development/conflict management NGO. As well as a keen interest in politics, I spend much time writing and hope to become a published fantasy author one day. To keep my mind and soul active, I volunteer for charity, work on my various fantasy novels, and sing in all sorts of choirs. I pad out the rest of my time with reading, hillwalking, house parties, movies, and eating out.

I joined anime-planet back in January 2006, when my friend Maelstrom recommended it as a good place for anime discussion, and it has since become my only online hangout. As well as haunt the forums every day, I contribute to the Anime Recommendation Database with anime entries and site reviews.

I've just returned from a long period of volunteering abroad and will be off again in a month's time for more basic food and mosquito bites. During the month at home I hope to watch and review:
