Watched a lot of anime back in the early 90s, when it was a bitch to get ahold of, and was *expensive*. So as the habit was killing me, managed to be away from it for pretty much a decade.

Like smart anime - more on the mind games and angst, less on the fighting. While I don't mind chibi style stuff making an occaisional appearance, I cannot stand cutsey filler - eg: the mod souls (including Kon) in Bleach, Arthur in Code Geass s. - even Vampire Hunter D's damned hand tends to annoy me.

I keep my anime list up to date, and with star ratings, so it's clear to see what other anime makes the grade for me.
