i will keep this brief. it's a really great series that pokes fun at those fighter animes, mainly the ones with really powerful characters. the main character tends to literally defeat enemies in one punch, thus he is kinda bored of being a hero because he wants a challenge. as a fighting anime, you may not find it to be the best compared to certain other shows, but as a parody series, you will be quite amused at the irony presented in this premise and characters. even if you expect every enemy to be beaten easily, it's just the manner of comedy, and the extreme situations, that make it fun. so i would... This is just another typical shounen action science fiction fantasy anime. before i get started, i would like to mention that i actually give this anime a 10/10, but this is for personal bias, but within subject of fairness of an analytical review, i stated the OVERALL is 9.5/10. this movie started off really kickass (considering i'm a metal fan), but then slowly went downhill, to either boring me or confusing me about halfway through the movie due to a strange issue between two of the characters that had no place in the plot considering the logic of the characters (i don't want to spoil with details, just watch it). i agree with many who say this was just one long episode, didn't feel epic really, aside from going on a out of country trip, and some other things that i'm afraid to mention because this site doesn't like spoilers in reviews. i honestly have mixed feelings about this, the first 12 episodes i hated it because all the characters seemed two dimensional, i didn't see a point in watching a boy pine over a shallow girl, and a dark angel who stole art, seemed boring, but my friend implored that i watched the whole thing...  but then, what's this?  character and plot development?  about halfway through the series, just as i was ready to stop watching, i slowly noticed changed in things and i no longer wanted to kill myself, because the anime really was grinding me with boredom until then, lol. i really wish plot...
