Well if you liked Yosuga no Sore then Aki Sora will be a treat for you, even as short as they are. and ill definitly have a look at your watched list and see what i can recommend =D
Thanks for the review comment =D
I'm glad to see my review actually was of some help to someone, it’s not as detailed as id like it to be but even it being just the slightest bit helpful made it worth doing =3
In response to your comment, I really agree, I’m a huge romance fanatic and most of the time there is little to no pay off whether it is a kiss or something which isn’t much. So when you’re looking for something a little more intimate you think hentai is your only option but it’s not what you’re looking for either because it’s just an animated porno with little to no story at all. What i find nice about Borderline Hentai is that it’s nice to really get a feel for the characters, watch the romance develop and how fulfilling it is when they finally get together. Btw if you liked Yosuga no Sora you might like Aki Sora & Aki Sora: Yume no Naka (Ova's) and Kiss x Sis, both are Ecchi and feature Explicit Content for the likes of more mature viewers such as me and you. =p
Thanks! ^^ I better fix that :P my english leaves a lot to be desired as the saying goes xD
But yeah! :D I definitely recommend watching this OVA, it was awesome XD
Got to agree with what you said about VivisQueen. Sheesh, what a downer, although she's not the only one who frequently looks for flaws in anime.
If that's Mugen from Samurai Champloo in your profile pic like I think it is, then I love you too. XD
When it comes to reviews, I primarily go with how the anime makes me feel. I think that successful anime, along with most other media, should make you feel something: happiness, pride, sorrow, depression, anger... or in the case of Dragonaut, amusement and snark. The absolute worst series/movies/music/whatever is the stuff that makes you feel nothing; apathy should be avoided at all costs. (See my review of the braindeath that is Yuru Yuri for a perfect example of what a state of terminal apathy does to a reviewer.)
I tend to judge the sound, animation, etc. on repeated viewings, after I already know the plot and can focus on other things. Unless of course, as in Dragonaut, the plot spins wildly out of control early on... then I just focus on things to make fun of.
Anyway, thanks again for the comments, and sorry for the monstrously long responses. If you like my writing that much, <SHAMELESS PLUG>be sure to check out my web novels and fanfiction too!</SHAMELESS PLUG>
