Hello again... Sorry for the super long delay. I've been on a super long anime hiatus and I've just caught up on everything today.

Life's just too hectic! Especially assignments... I've done three essays, multiple final projects and have had to read King Lear over the last couple of weeks. King Lear is probably the most boring Shakespeare play ever. Every single moment reading it was like torture. And I'm not even a Shakespeare-hater. On top of school, I'm section editor for the school newspaper. Our final issue for the year is coming up so it's been blood sweat and tears to produce a good final copy because most of our team is graduating this year.I swear I've been running on a max of 4 hours of sleep every day :(

Oh and we should make up a super sport and enter it into the Olympics! What do you think our chances are? Maybe it'll be next new craze!

When it's raining like this everyday, the few days of sunshine seem even better. So I'm glad everyone's being more appreciative! Btw, The wedding turned out great. The rain held off till just about an hour after the ceremony. Now that's what I call luck!

About the hair jel, I hope your hair isn't stiff with the jel. That's my pet peeve! Along with guys who drown themselves in Axe!

Anyway, what's going on with you? Plans for the summer?

As for cricket: I'm absolutely heartbroken! We lost in the semi-finals and it was so damn close! We tied and then there was a tie-breaking round of 6 balls... and we lost by 2 runs :'(  I'm still in shock otherwise I would be in tears right now... But it was so incredible that we made it this far b/c my hopes weren't so high in the beginning. I'm a pround captain!   I made the deadline! Also, I'm so surprised and glad that you're interested b/c most people just dismiss cricket...

You've got the hang of it! I can't believe I explained cricket so successfully, all in text :) When bowling, you can spin the ball to throw off the batsmen but that takes a lot of skill. When it comes to batting, traditionally it's held lower. But in our league we can hold it in whatever way we want. Not sure of the "official" worldwide rules though.

Curly short hair? I have the opposite! I have super straight short hair! The best part though is being able to wash it in 15min. Anything that lets me sleep in for a few extra minutes is awesome in my books. I'm really not a morning person.

I'm from Southern Ontario too! and... Well, this week is going to be sunny! Though by pure chance its raining on saturday and there's a wedding to attend. I realize that people say it's good luck to rain on your wedding day but I don't really believe in luck or superstitions so I'm feeling down about that. *fingers-crossed for sunshine*

Unfortunately for me, I think this is a break week from anime... I've got a pile of assignments and papers due in the next 7 days.

And with your encouragement, I'll try to pick up Monster again and stick to it everyday! (though I'm not sure how this is going to last) Does the pacing pick up after a while? Also I hope there's a lot of Nina in the future-- she's awesome!

I missed voting this time... but I'm making a special effort to vote in the provincial election in the fall. I'm all about appreciating Canadian democracy. I guess I'm spirited about a lot of these things LOL
