Osanajimi no Mune ga Ookikunatta no wa Ore no Sei Kamo Shirenai

Spoilers and such about the dictomy of the human psyche and emotions The true horror, is the dissatisfaction we face in emotional affairs. A truly cosmic bending one-shot about a girl, massive ass cow tits from Frustration Syndrome; where when you get frustrated from some shit, your body changes respectively. The lesser horror is becoming a Lovecraftian titty god, where even when you do, you can't get through to the one you love until you beat him senseless with your feelings. Absolutely god-tier in everything, highly recommended with a heartwarming ending that is a testament to the eternal power of love... See full review

8.1: Yamada Yuusuke Gekijou

Jul 4, 2020

Like Fear Itself, The Terror or American Horror Story after the third episode in recent seasons, the quality within would vary massively unless it's some sublime work of art that maintains consistent greatness throughout. That ain't happening. But this is more akin to Fear Itself with an episodic anthology rather than a seasonal one that sometimes has continuity. Some are good, like Soccer or Break, both the backends of their respective volumes while others like Picture Mail just seem to cut out in the middle of the story. I know it's short stories, but at least have a conclusion and don't leave us hanging... See full review

72, 73ish chapters reviewed Story/Characters: This manga, it isn't just trash, it's super trash. Just about everything about this is trash. Crash on island, islanders immediately hostile, shit hits the fan and keeps on hitting it. Things don't go right often for these people, very rarely. A lot of the time it has a "darkness induced audience apathy" vibe to it, all the rape, sexual harassment, abuse, scumbaggery... it wears you down. It overshadows any good they do, any good intentions of our heroes, a lot of the small victories they get. It happens to some of the best girls, some of the more... See full review

Gal Cleaning!

Oct 13, 2019

The thing about this series is that you can split it into two parts: Cleaning Post Chapter 8 The cleaning, that is some good shit holmes. Like, this homie be cleaning and shit and using all these cleaning techniques and shit and it's all factual and shit, that's some good shit holmes. Like the gal don't know shit about cleaning and this guy knows all the shit about cleaning and he cleans for her and their typical dynamic is pretty sweet. And there's like a cleaning tip per chapter, that's the good shit. And then you get to Chapter 8.5, which is the beginning of this show becoming a total dumpster fire... See full review

Story of Dat Ass: Alright, before I begin anything, let me draw your attention once again to dat ass. That right there is how you make a cover. You know it's a guy, but you have to admire an ass that fine. If the manga would keep up with such fine ass-ness then it would be perfect. Unfortunately, it does not. But the art makes me appreciate that this guy makes an amazing girl, and that this is surprisingly not an awkward boner fest despite fully knowing that it's a dude throughout. The point here is that it's a great cover and that you should totally judge a book by its cover. This perfectly sound and... See full review

Revenge Game

Sep 28, 2015

Story: I am a complete sucker for revenge games. Or survival games. Or stuff where you have to kill your own friends and classmates or know what? Call it Battle Royale. This story, is mainly the first one with a dash of the third, minus the wanton brutal butchering. But I digress, I forgot the point I'm making. Probably a- oh, right, "Revenge Game". Nevermind. As the title implies, revenge happens. In a "game" format. But it's mostly revenge, where a bullied rich boy who was bullied gets his revenge on his bullies. Hence, the title. There are no "Saw" or "Hostel"... See full review

I think it's only fair to review this in two ways: The Main plot and the Omake plots, but in some ways, they overlap. And by overlap I mean titties. After the jump, boobs. Story (Main) So, it starts out great: This guy is running, he has a mask over his head, or some kind of sack with an eye hole (Eye, only one to make it even more frea-kay) and a mouth hole; screaming for someone to save him because OH SHIT He is being chased by this fine ass woman in an ox head mask! Who cuts him down as blood splatters on her fine, fine rack. And let me tell you, it is a fine rack. That pretty much sets you up for a... See full review

Story: You know why I read this? Fanservice. What did I get? Fanservice. About 80% boobs, 20% butts, something I can't entirely approve of because who doesn't like a fine rump? Everybody loves well-rounded butts! Ass man, it's all about the ass. And it's all about the service, because this has a lot of fetish fuel, and to namedrop them all is not only spoilery but time consuming. But there is plenty with some girl on girl action. That bit alone gets it an extra point. And the actual plot? Easy: Floating island where non-humans gather and a guy goes to teach there while meeting all these fine ass honeys who... See full review

Feb 11, 2014

Story: In a nutshell, it's about delinquents playing baseball and their coach/teacher who talks about dreams and inspires said delinquents to stop doing delinquent behaviour and play some baseball. It really is about delinquents and baseball and those two aspects, together or separate, are 90% of the manga in it's 24 volume run. Seriously, baseball. Loads of it, and you can bet your ass it's some damn good baseball. Baseball games, like any other game in manga form, take place over a few volumes, to better display how fucking awesome it is. Here is no exception, be it length or awesomeness. The games are... See full review

Deadman Wonderland

Jan 26, 2014

Story: Framed for mass murder, wanton slaughter and 16 other assorted accounts, Ganta is found guilty and is sentenced to Deadman Wonderland, a jail where the public can watch some fun death games and badass blood fights. Family friendly fun for all! I should also mention that it's a literal wonderland, with the jail smack dab in the center of an amusement park, complete with a ferris wheel. That's how they roll, and they're rolling in a MacLauren, one of those super fast race cars; it's that good. Secret Santa 2013 Review Story: Cutting out the filler, it's about a guy who has super eyes but a weak body so he gets the help of a sexy ghost whose previous life was a swordswoman of a school of badass swordmanship, "Fist to Face Sakura Sword Style". She helps him become a kendo practicioner by using her methods and techniques and his super eyes. That's the story in a nutshell and it goes through plenty of training, angst at being too weak, all the shit that any main character who has to rise to become the top has to face, except it cuts out most of said shit and as a whole feels like that... Gankutsuou

Nov 30, 2013

Story: In a nutshell, if you haven't read The Count of Monte Cristo, don't bother with this. To a greater extent, if you haven't watched Gankutsuou, seriously don't bother with this. This is more of a companion piece to the anime Gankutsuou than a stand-alone adaptation that can be read all on it's own, irregardless of it's source material. Nevertheless, a background in the original Alexandre Dumas work and then the anime would be most beneficial. Once more before I mention it again a few more times: Do not step into this without prior knowledge of the series! So, why did I say all that crap? Simply... See full review

Story: Straight up, I had some real fun with this. It's an apocalypse that isn't entirely brought about by humans, but by mother nature getting fed up with humans being the top dogs and opening up a can of whoop-ass. The real nitty-gritty of it is that the environment is changing and in turn, so does the ecosystem. The ecosystem in thos case doesn't bother with the large species but with the small. Rats, for instance, beasties of those size and even smaller. It almost feels fresh in that it isn't humans that are the worst enemy here but the species that lived in fear of us or those we crushed because we're... See full review

Not nearly as sublime as the uncannily sublime 20th Century Boys (2 volumes compared to 22 but shush) but a solid follow-up nonetheless on one of the most magnificent and unbelievable works in manga ever. You fall into two camps: The first one, the uncultured heathens who haven't read 20th Century Boys, and the second one, those who have walked the path of Kenji and Friend. First camp, leave this page and begin reading. Second camp, this is the grand finale of the series. It wraps up the saga of Friend, the Kenji Faction and all inbetween. Story: A classic tale of guy winding up in a death match battle royale between a number of contestants for a hefty prize bag against his will. If it were a classic plot type/narrative/whosawhat then that would be disturbing but it's a normal guy in an relatively abnormal situation, and because it's a battle royale, blood and violence ensues, fun for all! Especially for the viewers, by which I don't mean you, and by which again is where it throws a nice curveball, as the entire thing is broadcasted online for a paid streaming internet show thing. Amagami: Love Goes On!

Sep 2, 2013

It's a sweet, adorable tale about the adorable Ai, swimmer and gal who trolls Main Guy in her arc. This is strictly for fans of her and for those who watched the show. It does her justice with some great art to boot. The quick story wouldn't appeal much to other people but if I remember correctly, it's faithful to the show and probably faithful with the length as well. I adored her and the show so this is right up my alley so once again, fans of the show and more specifically Ai, pick it up. Everybody else, watch the show instead of reading about Ai's arc. It'll be better that way and more filling.

Story: Ai Kora, a heartwarming tale about a guy who loves parts. I don't just mean an ass-man or a titty fiend, this is a guy with class and expectations, specific taste and a gourmet palette. He wants a specific kind of bust, eyes, legs ass neck waist etc etc. Each part needs to be a specific size and shape and this form of fetish is aptly called "Parts love". The series runs on this theme and is the absolute driving force behind his actions (Lets call him Maeda) and his need to protect and desire for said parts is also a running theme in the chapters within the series. Good Luck Girl!

Aug 7, 2013

Story: I just adore this series. The comedy was spot on between the main protagonists and the side characters in relation to them and each other; how it could be so perverted without overdosing on ecchi; the sad moments that the characters reflect upon and the bright side at the end; how the characters grow and evolve as the series progresses and the characters themselves that help make up the world of Binbougami Ga. Sometimes it's antics involving the main plot of Momiji trying to get Sakura's fortune energy, other times it's about side characters and going deeper into what made Sakura into what she is... See Me After Class

Aug 7, 2013

Story: I doubt it'll continue anytime soon but what's there is story-wise, crap. Absolute crap. But the cover is a giant pair of boobs with some little chibi guy there for no reason. I mean, the mammaries are as big as the title! Obviously this is about tits, and that guy is getting some. And he does, he gets all the bitches. No rack is safe from the bitch magnet that is his immeasurable sexual appeal. And his junk. So, the plot is a lead in for tits because it's a scenario that's fit for a school porno- Think of this as a college with- It's just a set up for tits. Typical ecchi start up where the girly... Kamisama no Iutoori (Akeji FUJIMURA)

Jun 14, 2013

Story: I'm a fan of this kind of stuff: Survival, youngsters being tossed into "life or head explosion" situations, high stakes games, head explosions and turning mundane games into high stakes games (Totally different from "high stakes games" on it's own) or turning childhood games into horrifying nightmarish trials. And psychological breakdowns, those are always fun. The manga tackles all of that and for those who are fans of that kind of stuff, it should satisfy despite a high turnover rate, questionable plot developments and in my opinion, somewhat poor reasoning and it was... 20th Century Boys

Story: Naoki Urasawa's name on the cover is a seal of quality. You know the series you're about to read is some of the best in the genre, if not the entire damn medium. He's just that good, and 20th Century Boys is no different. A tale of heroism and heroics, childhood dreams and growing up, good vs evil and confrontation, it spans a nice set of volumes and with detail, loads of dialogue and for here, the power of music, driven by T.Rex's 20th Century Boys. While the tale is a long one, it has the Urasawa style of taking it's time. It doesn't rush and for better or worse, it gives you all of what you need... See full review

The progression is progress, it continues as if it's natural and it does feel natural in a way. It flows, doesn't feel disjointed or frazzled but what's in the flow is a load of crap. It's- Ugh. Mizugi no Sekai

Mar 1, 2013

That's my face through the entire thing. Not only is it a one-shot, it's a one-shot about a world where people wear swimsuits. All the time. And this is at school, where they got out of the wet, wet outside, in their swimsuits. It is exceptional: in it's delivery, in the art, the colour, the wetness of it all, dat milk, even when writing on the board it's delicious. Considering that it's swimsuits and nothing else, I'm scoring it appropriately, with 90% of the score going to art, fanservice and swimsuits with the remaining 10% to everything else. Which is nothing.

Comedic moments like these are present throughout, by means of slapstick, comedic dialogue or what have you but never consistent, as interspersed within the pages of this series is some truly heartwrenching moments, tearjerkers, heartwarming and it's a torrent of emotions. Garden (Yuichi YOKOYAMA)

Jan 11, 2013

So, there are these characters, characters as in these... characters. They go into a garden full of geometrical shapes, rife with abstract patterns, constructions and the ordinary made into something obscure and unusual while keeping in the bounds of what we see today: Trees made of cars, mechanical whozawhats in the form of a piece of nature, all sorts of jazz. If you got any of that, then give it a go. If you're like me and didn't entirely follow that then go read something that is more structured. The only way this is structured is the progression through the garden. There is no end goal and the only... See full review
