The Gakuen Choujotai

Jul 2, 2019

All things considered, you could do much worse. One: it has some cuties. 2: It has some long-haired, handsome dudes. C: Psychic powers and shit. Quatre: Cults and shit but with a mix of what can assumed to be imperialist fascism with said brainwashed cult. That's not getting into anything else, but for what it is, it's some cheap thrills. The powers they always had which skips much need to explain the origins, the development is predictable, the story is generally nonsense, massively dated if you watch the Youtube cut in 244p BUT it has a sick soundtrack with some gnarly guitar riffs, the strong... Everything: As this is a gag anime there is no real plot apart from it being about a group of girls in a tennis club where they sort of do tennis but instead do gag things that sometimes revolve around tennis but what you should really understand is how it is on cocaine and never stops never stopping like a popstar that never slows down because this show is on all the crack and like that Swords show on western animation Mighty Magiswords every space is filled with chitter chatter yakkity blabbity Jane to maximize screentime of getting in all the jokes possible because let me tell you something there is like... The Dark Myth

Sep 24, 2018

Story: Heh, Dark Myth is a highly intellectual religious piece that masterfully combines Shinto, Buddhasm and Hindu with geographical Japan and extensive historical facts into one exemplary euphoric piece that requires a intellectual to fully comprehend as well as knowledge in comparative religious studies to fully understand the metaphysical story that juxtaposes the past with the present and neo-future. It's an extremely intellectual series like Richard and Mortimer except for this one you need to be well-versed in the aformentioned religions with an explanatory dump that's broken up by intervals of... The Seven Heavenly Virtues

Apr 2, 2018

Story: This is a very high quality show that aims to display the many, many bountiful virtues of... the Seven Heavenly Virtues, from Michael to Gabriel, Metatron and what have you. The names don't matter so much as their angelic properties. It's critical to this mini series that is a spin-off of Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai, which I'm told is quite an excellent series, by likeminded people. And everything said so far is in reference to the titties and ass on display. You're watching this for titties, ass, and more titties because this anime... See full review

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

Dec 25, 2017

Story/Characters: You know what I hate reviewing? Good shit, because you can't riff on good shit or drop fuck bombs like The Boondock Saints. This is one of those shows. It isn't deep on plot nor does it do anything too outlandish or 2012 with the whole "Earthquake pwning Tokyo and surrounding districts" but that's a given for the disaster scenario and in it's in favour respectively. What it does well, is being a good survival show that feels real while maintaining a mix of quasi-adventure/journey type shit and horrifically sad and stunning. It's like... earthquakes and shit. Hence the title... See full review

Tanjou: Debut

Mar 1, 2017

Story: I had a lot of jokes and clever quips about "Doubt" but like the actual show, I was disappointed by the title. Instead, all I got is "It's a debut of crap", and that isn't half as clever as Doubt. But the relevancy of all this is that you expect crap and you get boring crap. Do you give a shit about whatever love triangle crap is going on between John Smith and the girls who eat way too many burgers? NO. Do you care about the time capsule or whatever the second episode is about? GOD NO. There is nothing exciting about this drudge fest. BUT, it is pretty... meh? Or harmless... See full review

Toward the Terra TV

Dec 25, 2016

Story: I will always underestimate series and occasionally overestimate some that I think would be so-so or crap and turn out to be complete shit. This one I underestimated. Psychic powers and space opera is a good combination, don't ya know, and what helps out is the society it's based in, which is all about control and being big brother to the fleshies. Then there's your plucky band of psychic rebels who fight the power because the power would pretty much brutally eradicate them from existence. This doesn't do it justice as it gets to be pretty grand as the show moves along and throws enough nut punches... See full review

The Cat Returns

Feb 4, 2016

Story Going into it, I thought to myself, "Hum, The Cat Returns." Not "Shit, kiddy movies? Man, this is balls" or anything of the like. Just ho-hum as I knew, for a fact, that this next movie, would look like a dog's breakfast after the previous day's raging bonerfest of scenery porn by the master of scenery porn, Makoto Shinkai. Movie was Kotonoha no Niwa (The Garden of Words) but that is neither here nor there. Just had to namedrop it. The point is, I had no expectations for it. Man, not having expectations and then... The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Jan 1, 2015

Story: A lord of evil, prince of darkness, Satan, dark overlord etc etc was the guy who made an entire world collectively crap their pants as he sent his forces of evil to kick ass and take names until their names were taken and kicked to the curb by the heroes. But, total but, he vamoosed with his second in command bro Azaziel in all but name (because his name is totally different) to Earth, where he becomes a grill jockey for MickyD's. If it were aiming for something more realistic, a guy of evil would be working for Taco Bell. And Burger McFlipsters is from a Canadian show, rendering it unusable. Point... See full review

The animation? The sound? The characters I don't give a rat's fuzzy ass about? The "romantic vomit-inducing subplot"? EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHIT IS FUCKING SHIT. EVERY. FUCKING. The Asylum Session

Jun 3, 2013

Story: I have no clue. Usually I have a clue but this shit was messed up. I may have watched it raw but even with subs, chances are it would have been a wet brain fart. From what I understood from the butt-ugly pictures, it was about a girl who meets this badass guy with a gun for the leg and an attitude that attracts women because all girls love bad boys. Except I don't know if she loves him. Not that it matters because it's about art and not breakdancing while scoring head exploding headshots with his gun leg and rifle. Stupid, ain't it? And it is, but it sends a message, one wrought with symbolism and... See full review

The Qwaser of Stigmata II

May 24, 2012

Story: Sup dawg, heard you watched Seikon no Bitches and wanted more titty action so we made Seikon no Bitches II which has even more tits in half the run time! And all for your viewing pleasure, you sick perv. And that's not a mistake. The official nipple counter Schizm didn't lie. He just excluded some of the tits. The plots this time around cuts down on the dicks with an all-female school + a crossdresser + an obvious expat from S1. Who else in this show has a scar? Don't answer that, I didn't pay that much attention. The plot itself is generally easy to follow but contains enough bullshit moments for... See full review

The Qwaser Of Stigmata

May 14, 2012

For the Buddy Group, you guys are the best!
Story: Boobs. The plot revolves around sucking the milk out of innocent virgins. Already it's a load of illogical perverted shit and it gets shittier as it goes on. To it's credit, it integrates sucking on quivering nipples as an essential plot point. And the sexual assault of young women. Pure deviency for sure, but give it credit for being completely shameless. But alas, I'm neglecting the plot plot, which revolves around finding a macguffin, a "Theotokos of Tsarytsin" (Quoted from the Anime Entry). After watching it, I think I know what it is... The Qwaser Of Stigmata Picture Drama

May 14, 2012

I'll get straight to the point. If you haven't watched Seikon no Nipples, get out of here. If you have, you're a perverted dumbass. This Picture Drama is just like the original, only without bouncing. The titties only apply to the non-Katja-Sama parts, which is half of them and prevents it from going into lolicon territory. Mostly. I mean, the impication is there, but no nudity on Katja's part. Just... gets kinda awkward at times. And makes me feel dirty. From the dog to milk all over, and the sweat, or what appears to be sweat, it's filthy, and not in the good way. The lack of bounce brings down the... See full review

The Qwaser of Stigmata: Portrait of the Empress

May 5, 2012

Story: The fuck? Story? Fuck that shit. Did you see the original series up to episode 10? This is 10.5 and has absolutely no relation to the bullshit story of the original series whatsoever. None. The plot is basically a rapis- "Breast Detoxifing" Organisation run by a rapis- rapist who sucks the soma out of women with large racks to become a Qwasar. But before that, Measurement day- I mean physicals. Yes. Detoxify breasts through machines or lips on action. This shit is dumber than the normal shit but points for it being a supposedly legit organization on the news before the crackdown and for... See full review

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Aug 24, 2011

Story: This didn't even need a story. If it just had mecha, explosions, ham and manliness with a barebones plot to push all that forward, then it would have been awesome. But you get a plot to go with your larger-than-life mecha and overblown speeches. The plot starts off simple and could have simply ended at 12 episodes in but with the time-skip at that half-way mark, you're getting another story that could have been a second season. And that story, is made of awesome once it picks up.

It's not simply the "fight for freedom" that does it but how as it continues, it gets bigger... See full review

The Tatami Galaxy

Mar 17, 2011

I can't tell you what attracted me to this series apart from the name as I thought it was a person, but I was completely off. Luckily, I was persuaded to join up the FYAB group on this and it was well worth it. It's most certainly strange and oddball, but it's quite fun. Basically, each episode is a two-year campus life of Watashi, who seeks a rose-coloured campus life. At the start of the episode, he picks a club to join and that choice presents a durastic change in the events in each episode. So he can join the tennis club and in another episode the movie club but the events in the two are pretty much... See full review

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Feb 23, 2011

Studio Ghibli, how I love the work you do. You're easily one of my fa- wait, what? Madhouse? Man... I could have sworn it was Studio Ghibli... regardless, Madhouse produced another work of brilliance with Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo. It might have been the animation; simple character designs, clean and not heavily detailed with the backgrounds looking more elaborate, providing a pleasant viewing experience. Or me being a sucker for romance movies. Or even the theme of going back in time to change things for a better present (At the time of the change) that made it so engrossing, or a mix of all three. Or simply... See full review

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes

Feb 19, 2011

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. Doesn't really grab you, does it? That's the last time I judge an anime by the title, until the next time I do and I forget to not judge it. But when I looked past it, I saw a Comedy/Semi-political/Fantasy-Action series multi-hybrid. Kinda reminds me of Code Geass, but without the cheese and mechs. With it's fingers in a multitude of genre jars, it makes itself a fine sandwich, if you don't look too closely at what the sandwich's made of. I sure didn't, and I had a blast. It bounces from light-hearted comedy to a darker violent action series and it continues on like that... See full review

The Place Promised in Our Early Days

Feb 16, 2011

There's this one scene (Or segment) in the movie where Sayuri picks up a violin and plays it. Along with the imagery, the sheer beauty of both music and visuals made me weep. The only other time I came close to weeping (Sounds better than crying in this case) was with another violin but that first example really got me. But that's not to say that they're the only good looking or good sounding scenes, as this movie is absolutely gorgeous and a feast for both the eyes and the ears. It may possibly be the most beautiful film I have ever seen as of yet. It's just gorgeous segment after gorgeous segment. I fear... See full review
