Wild 7

Jun 17, 2018

Story: It's about a badass crew of ex-criminal badasses fighting for justice as vigilante cops who take no shit from nobody and solve problems with exlosions, guns, explosions and kickass music. Or the first episode was. Second is about some political intrigue or some shit. But let me praise the first half: It was clear and simple; Charles Bronson/Dirty Harry dudes going after gangsters and shit with guns and explosions and all the manly good stuff. The details don't really matter but it also boils down to bros over hos. Or bros before the blatantly corrupt judical system that's against Wild 7 for the... See full review

Wild Cardz

Mar 10, 2017

Wild Cardz? More like Wild Shitz, amirite? Haha! We (Users) here at Anime Planet like to joke around, but there is something serious that we need to talk about, and this is some serious shit. Of course, by shit I am referring to Wild Shitz. Wild Shitz is a... hodge-podge of a mish-mash of a clusterfuck of random, assorted shit and the barest sense of knowing what actual games are. I mention "Games" instead of "Cardz" because this pulls Chess pieces out of the air and NO ONE IN THE FUCKING SHOW CAN FUCKING GUESS WHAT THE FUCK A FUCKING CHESS PIECE FUCKING IS. EACH AND... Wicked City

May 30, 2015

Story: I actually missed the first 10 minutes of this suckfest so I don't know if I missed much of the plot or anything BUT I did miss some worldbuilding because the first 3 minutes is always spent on narrating for whatever crapsack world some shit like this is taking place in. But all that? Total peanuts because what you're here for is demon on demon- oh, wait, I'm thinking of something else. Demon on Demon Hunter/Fighter (But isn't actually a demon) action. Admittedly, I'm starting to confuse this with some other shit I watched so bare with me, because we'll get to the goodies soon. But there is demon on... See full review

Walkure Romanze

Jan 18, 2014

Catching Up With Fall MM Story: Plot in a real ecchi is like plot in a porno: It's nice to have but not what you're here for. Obviously this applies for Walkure Romanze as well as the fact that it's ecchi jousting which goes further to say that any and all plot is completely irrelevant in the face of ecchi jousting, complete with sexy gear, jousting, hot girls jousting, more jousting and holy fucking shit it's a fucking jousting anime. When was the last time you saw a jousting anime that looked this hot? Not enough is what, this caters to a niche genre while catering to the perverted masses. It's all about... See full review

Wanna be the Strongest in the World

Jan 17, 2014

Spoilers about some plots and stuff. Not that you're watching it for plot or any dumb shit like that. Story: This failed as much as Tits-Chan did in the first six episodes of failure. Or five. The point is she failed. A lot. Constantly. It got incredibly depressing when she rode that fail train all on down the line and let me tell you, again, repeatedly, she. Fucking. Failed. In each episode's crappy ass wrestling moments which were filled breast to breast with moaning, it was a constant stream of fail moans. Now that's out of my system for now, I can tell you why it's worse than implants. At it's core... See full review

When They Cry: Kai

Apr 20, 2011

For all the unanswered questions you get by the time you finish the first season, you wonder if the second will answer them all. The answer is no, but would there have been enough time to? In it's defense, it answers quite a bit while providing backstory and motive, as well as what's behind it all. It answers the main question and a few others while providing it's own and answering them in turn. It is Higurashi, so more questions are to be expected. The arcs still retain most of the comedic moments (Still hit or miss) of the first season but lack the blood and violence we've seen before. Not to say that... See full review

When They Cry: Higurashi

Mar 21, 2011

Oh Higurashi... how you open with a thunderbolt and then clear skies soon after, making one wonder if it was all but a dream. And then it's back in moderation, steadily growing until it reaches the climax of the storm and just as before, clears up but not without the last laugh, the final hurrah only to return later. That's essentially Higurashi, or the progression of it. It starts off with a scene and then transforms into comedy. The comedy lasts for a while but turns into something monstrous, wrought with suspense and horror. It's brilliant, simply so. How it mixes two genres and the switch between them... See full review
