This has to be the best Shintaro Kago story I've ever read. Considering that the other ones I've read were shit, this doesn't amount to much. Anywhoo, it's a clever plot, really. Mixes the fourth wall and creative... layout to-
Ok, there are panels of people's past that others can see, including themselves. That's it. But it's Kago, so there's a certain level of deviency, perverse humor and fucked up events in it, except it's mostly perverse. What brings it down, unfortunately, is the fact that it's panels within panels. The smallest panels include text too small to read comfortably without resorting to wizard zooming skills, and since it's not worth it, you're left to squint and make out the crude drawings that tell half the story.
Maintaining his shitty art skills, it's still not a mind rape like his other work, so improvments there and up to the end, it was alright. The panel size for some parts bring it down a bit but the ending, never has he penned anything more true.
