It's decent enough, with the premise of a merciless beating and some recovery that makes the man who never looks someone in the eye unable to see anyone's eyes. It retains a bit of a creep factor with those eyeless faces but doesn't have a whole lot of suspense. I did like the aftermath of his hospital stay but the ending left me confused. As a one shot, it's worth a quick read.
