Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01
I'll try to keep my review short, because this is only about a 40 min OVA, but basically its a good old 80's sci-fi OVA without all that much context behind it. Story and Characters- So the story focuses on this kid named Kouji who just happens to find this military mecha suit prototype called Madox-01. He somehow finds himself piloting this thing, but at the same time needs to rendezvous with a girl he likes. Maris the Chojo
Story- The story is about Maris a superpowered space police woman who is trying to make a name for herself and her shape shifting fox pet thing. Her misson in this OVA is to rescue a prince whos been captured by another super powered girl and she believes she can get rich off him. Her past is quite sad and the end of OVA doesn't help... Theres some references to pop-culuture and her other works in the OVA if you look which is pretty cool and the whole "suit that restricts her strength" thing was neat.
