Tbh on tora dora I thought the decisions they made although stupid were very fitting. Maybe I'd just rather have an anime end with couples getting married and having a family rather than the couple finally being boyfriend and girl friend even though they were much more than that throughout the entire series ne ways.
Also, it doesn't seem like the Top 5 in my sig is updating any more. I think V3 took away support for top 5s in signatures, which is a pity. I'd switch to one of the others, but my stats are unimpressive, and a five-strong watching list would only be scratching the surface =/.
Also just noticed that K-On!'s your number 3. I guess we all have our differences, even if that one is less reconcilable than most.
Yes. Maria-sama ga Miteru. Wow. I did not expect much from it honestly. After the first six minutes I found myself flying through episodes. It had my full attention. (It has been less than twelve hours since I saw the first one and I am already half-way through episode six. I may be finished by the time you read this.)
As for the anime itself, not as much fanservice as SP or Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru. It really follows a Blue Drop pace. Slow, steady, plot issues take two episodes to solve as opposed to the usual one and a lot of facial expressions and built up drama, but nothing hysterical or off-putting.
The animation style is nice, even though it is not my cup of tea. (Make up your own mind on it?)
As for Simoun, I am at episode 18. To me, it pulls at heart-strings, but not like Voices of a Distant Star, but more like Gunslinger Girl. Difficult to describe. It is definitely interesting and worth a watch so far. (Even though the protagonist's looks leave a little something to be desired for.)
I should finish Simoun in the next four days, so leave me a comment once I set it to watched.
Well, it's great that you're enjoying it. I was a little worried (still am) that I went overboard in my review. Although I do sincerely love it as a 9/10 series, a not inconsiderable amount of the love is down to the utter hypnotic cuteness of it all, which gave me goosebumps on a regular basis. It's a quality magical girl show regardless, but I think that was the element that pushed me over the edge in terms of my adoration for it.
Ohhhh Patches. Patches, Patches, Patches. I hope you're not watching Shugo Chara! just to find out why I like Nadeshiko. Cause that's around 30 episodes away >_>. It's a great anime in its own right, of course, but I wouldn't have thought it was your kind of show. Still, I hope you love it. Because it is full of love.
I'll promise not to thrust any more unnecessary recommendations your way. At least not on purpose <_<.

Hahaha! I only wish I'd done that on purpose ._.
