Well hello there. Somehow you have found your way unto my lovely profile. Chances are much like myself, you love anime and chances are you found me by me by stumbling around this site. Anyway, this is a biography so I am going to actually start talking about myself.
I am currently a 21 year old college student born and bred in New Jersey. For those not familiar with America, I am from the ever crowded east coast. It's fine if you can get over the taxes. I am currently attending Montclair State University with no declared major as of yet, though I had a few thoughts of what I want to do flying through my head.
My break into anime started around the time was 9 or 10, watching Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network back in the day. Over time, I slowly discovered more and more into Anime and expanded my horizons to Manga, which has slowly become another one of my passions. To this day, I still cannot get enough and thanks to this site I think I'll find enough Anime to watch for the remainder of my lifetime.
In due time, I would love to eventually write reviews of the Animes I watch. While I have no idea when this will happen, I have established a scale in order to help guide myself:
10 (Flawless): Anything that gets a 10 must be watched. Simply put, they are perfect. Shame few things are perfect...
9.0-9.9 (Excellent): Masterpieces worthy of praise.
8.0-8.9 (Great): Solid Animes that are worth watching. Minor flaws exist but they do not detract from the overall experience.
7.0-7.9 (Good/Watchable): Most animes will fall here. While flawed in some respects, it's worth watching. .
6.0-6.9 (Acceptable): Anything in this range is watchable, not necessarily enjoyable.
5.0-5.9 (Mediocre): Ah, the anime with potential. Anything that falls in this range are best described as "eh" or "meh."
4.0-4.9 (Bad): The archetypical bad anime.
3.0-3.9 (Poor): Getting closer to the bottom of the barrel here.
2.0-2.9 (Lackluster): Nothing positive can be said about anything that falls in this range.
1.0-1.9 (Burnable): It would make good firewood and that's about it. Point for effort though.
