I've been watching anime since the early '90s, starting with Ranma 1/2 and graduating to whatever I can get my hands on. I prefer to collect the anime that I watch whenever possible, so I have more than 300 DVDs (also counting individual volumes within box sets). This, as you can imagine, takes up space and money, neither of which I have an abundance of. I like to think I'm objective in my ratings of the anime I watch, seeing it for what it's supposed to be rather than watching a series and simply saying "It's no Bleach," or "It ain't got enough Gundams in it." If it doesn't make me bored, I think the anime has done its job. I also have habit of watching anime I've heard is crap just for the sake of watching it.
Besides anime I like horror novels and console RPGs and fighting games.
On my Anime List, the Want to Watch section lists mostly anime that I own but haven't watched yet, the Stalled is mostly stuff I want to finish someday, and Dropped has the shows I see occasionally on TV but not on purpose and rarely with intent to finish the series.
