Ive been watching Anime sice I can remember. The first thing I probly watched was Saint Seiya, so thats why despite the bad animation and other problems, it still holds a very special place for me. I'm currently watching a bunch of Anime in between my College work, and I hope to continue watching for years to come!
Currently:
Bleach filler picking up the slack for the manga. Great fillers.
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ done. One of the best shows I've seen in a while.
Bakemonogatari - Random, Hilarous, Awesome. Top 5 material.
Baccano! - Awesome chaotic show, finally done.
Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Needs to come out with more than one OVA a month. But what's out is incredible.
Getting back on track...now.
Also slowly but surely doing site-reviews of everything I've watched.
Both series deal heavily with the underwold and the mafia lifestyle and both do a great job of...

Thanks for the review comment!
I'll agree that there was something likable about CSR, but I've tried to differentiate enjoyment from quality when reviewing (it can be extremely tough, let me tell you!). CSR falls terribly short of what it could have been: there's painfully little characterization, the plot meanders, and it doesn't look as good as it could for the amount of polish the visuals have. Your comment, "It just so happens the people who made this show only made Leyfon's morals an emotional conflict and didn't go further with it," illustrates this point well. There was potential there that the series' creators never really utilized.
All that aside, I kinda liked the Engrish sections. After seeing Higashi no Eden, I realized that if they'd wanted REAL English, they probably could have obtained it. I figured the Engrish was a stylistic choice. ;)
yea so far its good
