Whats up Interwebs.....
Yea so my friends call me a hipster and an "otaku" I guess thats what your called if you like anime. I'm looking for some nice people who like anime or manga and enjoy discussing it. I am always looking for suggestions on what to watch or read next; however, I also enjoy recommending manga or anime. I've been made fun of in the past for liking this kind or entertainment but screw em I'm a keep on reading and watching. Well to start off with I dont know what age you are so cant tell what type of stuff would suit you (no offence) :)
Cowboy Bebop would always be my first recomendation but luckly your on it. Anime wise I would try Welcome To The NHK!, Baccano, Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Black Lagoon, Higurashi, Evangelion and Black Lagoon.
Ive only got into manga lately but as ive found out the classics seem to be alot better then the new stuff most of the time, I'd read Dragonball and the great Osamu Tezuka's works (he is god!).

I can recommend you Fairy Tail because this anime has a great storyline and this anime has wonderful characters.
