Just wanted to drop bye and say hi. It has been awhile since we had left comments on each others page. I too, have been busy lately and haven't been able to watch many animes. The only one I that I look forward to is Deadman Wonderland, only because the people who made Durarara!! worked on that.

Besides that, I've been reading manga more lately since it takes less time to do and I can read through many chapters/volumes at once. I'm glad that the weather here in Minnesota is starting to hit the 50's/60's.

I'll talk to you later, Jeff

Yeah, there were a lot of great animes this fall. I didn't have a lot of time to watch many animes, so I had just downloaded the ones that I thought were interesting such as The World God Only Knows, MM!, Togainu no Chi, Kuragehime, Fortune Arterial, Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelts, Index 2, and Arakawa Bridgex2. I'll eventually watch those animes. How were some of these animes, I noticed that you were watching some of these animes.

The only animes I had watched were My little Sister Can't be This Cute, Bakuman, Amagami SS, Katangatari, and Squid Girl to get my Moe fix. I really miss K-On! Are there any winter animes you are going to watch? I know I will definitely watch Kimi Ni Todoke Season 2. There are also a couple of other ones that caught my eye.

Just wanted to drop by and say hi. It's been a while since we talked. I watched the movie The Girl Who Leapt Through Time last week and I highly recommend it. I loved a lot of parts of the film. I had rented it from netflix and watched it in english dub (which is a lot better than most english dub movies).

Are you watching anything at the moment? Any seasonal animes? I'm thinking of picking up quite of bit of these new animes that came out this fall. I just don't have the time to watch many animes at the moment.

Hey, thanks for giving me your opinion on Akikan. I'll be sure to stay away from it unless if there is nothing better to watch. Yeah I did just finished the Clannad series today.

My opinion on Clannad is that I thought the first season was good but not great. It kind of felt slow and seemed to drag on a bit in my mind. The second season (Clannad After Story) was great, I'm actually glad I finished the first season because it gave me more appreciation for the characters and the relationship between the two main characters.

Clannad After Story will make you cry unless if you don't have a heart. For me the saddest part of the series in the second season was from episode 16 to 22. You will most likely cry in episode 22 towards the end. The animators and the seiyus (voice actors) gave so much emotion that it's hard not to be attach to the characters.

If you do decide to get back to Clannad, I would recommend doing the first season first and then the second season. What I did was I watched the movie between the two seasons. I recommend that if you do decide to watch the movie wait until you're done with the episodes. The reason why is because the movie is a reinterpretation of the show of both seasons (it had the same plot and all the issues with it but it was delivered in a different way).

Even watching the movie before the second season or before starting the series won't ruin the show. Also there are some episode(s) towards the end of both seasons that doesn't relate to the plot. Your call if you want to watch it.

I hope this makes up your mind if you want to start watching Clannad again or not. Now looking at your stalled list the anime that stood out the most for you to continue to watch again is FMA: Brotherhood. I noticed that you read the manga for FMA.

I also read the manga as well and watched the anime, I will confirm that the anime does stick to the manga. If you do decide to start it again and don't want to watch all the episodes again I recommend watching the last 4 or 5 episodes. Especially the last episode, since it gives a little bit more info on the afterlife of many of the characters such as my favorite Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye compare to the manga and its one page of after life screenshots of the characters.

There are a few good series on your stalled list as well. I don't know if you know about this website but checkout and bookmark Their encyclopedia section tells you which episodes are ova's and if it's a recap episode or not. Also it just gives you cool news about animes and such.

As for me I am either planning to watch Kimi ni Todoke or Toradora! Or maybe Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Need to stay away from sad animes for a while. After watching Clannad After Story, I need to watch something happy.

Yeah, I too have been watching a lot of these newer animes such as kaichou wa maiden sama, highschool of the dead, amagami ss, k-on and etc. I like to watch all various kinds of animes. I just started getting into harem/romance/ecchi/drama animes for a while now. When I first got into anime I would watch fighting animes and now I'm into anything that would make me entertained or make me laugh or even some tearjerkers, as long as the animation is good and the story as well I most likely watch it.

I just started Clannad. I'm about 13 episodes in and I am starting to like it. I can understand why it's popular. I will then continue on and watch Clannad after story and the movie as well. After the Clannad series I am going to start watching Kimi ni Todoke, I heard it was good.

I noticed that you have seen Soul Eater and the Fullmetal Alchemist series, I think you should try to watch Eureka Seven. Eureka Seven is from the same studio called Bones who did Soul Eater and FMA. I liked the story line, the music, the romance, and this anime made me tear up a couple of times. I recommend this if you like animes that deal with romance, mecha, and sci fi. This anime is very dear to me, I would watch certain episodes from time to time.

I'll give you some more recommendations as well.
