Entertaining and pointless, this anime was well worth the watch. For some reason, I put off this anime for two years. I constantly reminded myeslf to watch this, but never found the time or enthusiasm to bother with it. After I spent some time finishing just recently, I can guarantee it is worth your time. The story is mainly about the dumbest class in a highschool and how they have to deal with peer pressure (and constant trolling) by other students and members of society. There is a plot and some flashbacks, but it is buried under the hilarious events that seem to impede on plot progression... See full review
Truth to be told, I had high hopes for this anime, but it left me rather disappointed. The score I gave was generous, perhaps too generous, but that's how I am. The plot is a typical school life with several wierd settings. The male lead is engaged to a girl and all seemed to be going fine until the final episode, which I found extremely unsatisfying. Maybe that is the reason my disappointment with this anime enlarged. It was promising and the plot started to build up into something interesting, then *poof, everything was ruined in the end and it seemed like the anime reverted back to its beginning... Simply amazing and beautiful at times, this nearly perfect anime left me in awe and tears that tormented me for the several weeks to come. The story revolves on the continuing relationship between the male and female lead. I liked the fact that they progressed beyond marriage. An obvious difference between the first and second season is that they lightened the comedy and increased the drama, resulting in a serious plot that stirs up emotions at the right times. And once again, Kyoto Animations does not disappoint. Their works were always detailed and gorgeous with background that feels alive, so there... See full review
Let's start off by saying they had some really nice characters in this anime, but left me in a sullen mood due to poor writing of the story. The story is about this armor mecha suits that only women could wear, which again brings up the question of why it's designed that way. Maybe it was explained in the Manga (which I did not read) or at a certain point in the anime when I wasn't paying attention. In the anime Freezing, only girls could be these super humans because they were created through genes inherited only by women, which makes sense. But this is a sense I do not see in I.S. So, basically it's... See full review
So let's start by saying that This show surprised me, since I did not expect the heavy amount of fan service and nudity (did not read the original manga), but it still pleased me to a certain extent. The story is a generic "aliens invade Earth and humanity has to fend off the invasion with genetically enhanced super women". Don't really know the background as to why only women are compatible with the gene, but it's okay, not much loss here. The story isn't supposed to be unique or breath-taking, just pure action and fun(?) The animation is fairly standard, but the fact that... See full review
A Special little treat for a Tales fan like me. As my name implies, I am a Tales fan, therefore it might seem a little biased, but it's still fair. The story is a prequal to the game and it is about Yuri's time in the knights. To fully understand some minor details, you would need to have played the game, but it doesn't matter, the story still proved to be interesting enough that non Tales might enjoy just as much. The animation is clean and nice, as expected from Production I.G. Shading might be a little scarce, but it is hardly noticable and a tradition of Production I.G.'s works. Oh yeah, I've never... As usual, I will write a short review. Whether you ingore my advice or not, I suggest you at least read this. the anime is slice-of-life where the main protagonist discovers that despite his sister being a idol and honor student, she is actually an Otaku. In order not to bring shame and humuliation to her sister, he has to hide her secret. The story is not new, as can be seen from "N*giza*a *ar*ka No *i*itsu", but the relationship and events between the two are interesting. The animation is definitely top notch. You can see that the animators put a lot of... See full review
A short review for a favorite. The plot revolves around a zombie by the name of Ayumu and his search for his killer. While the story is interesting, it is also filled with comedy and fan service. The animation is at times simple, but at times detailed. The music used is decent and the op and ed are quite catchy. The characters are somewhat generic, as you can find the same type of people from other animes, but execution is important. I loved every character. such characters include a bitching Mahou shoujo tsundere, a vampire ninja kuudere, a silent necromancer, and a hilarious "perverted"... See full review
As usual, a short review. The story is about a guy who received a task of capturing lost souls. Since lost souls reside within humans, sad humans, the protagonist has to replace the "hole" in the person's heart, and this this done by making them fall in love with him. Works kind of like Amagami SS, as every girl gets her own arc, but still quite different since time doesn't go back. The animation is pretty decent, with vibrant colors and nice tecture. The music is brilliant, especially the opening is superb and gives off a feeling of holiness. The characters are unique in the sense... See full review
A short review for a lame anime. Was this anime made to troll people who have no lovers or something!? A guy does nice things (nice things include picking up a wallet) and flocks of women surround him? Not only that, the girls come in pairs!? I can see that the creator of this anime really wanted a polygamy. The story is typical school life with a weak male lead miraculously attracting a horde of girls into his shoulders, well not exactly, since he has no guts at all. The plot is nothing special, basically what you've seen in every other harem anime. The ending ,especially, pissed me off. The... See full review
If you've seen my review before, you know I hate giving long reviews. So let's just get this over with. The plot is about a lineage that exterminates evil spirits and demons with the help of creatures known as Inukami. Keita, our good ol' perv, along with his bitch, Youko (Oh my, an actual pun with that word!) are the the latest ones in the lineage. I found myself laughing to the gayness of the anime and the consant and clever references to other anime. I believe everyone who watched the first episode was blown away with its unique... uh... taste. The story isn't one single mission or event... See full review
A short review for a so-so anime. Don't blame me. Hmm... let's start out with the story. Basically, it's a fiction based on the crusades, where two oppsing forces fight in order to reclaim a sacred land. I found some country's name interesting, such as the Unified kingdom and Lussia (-_-), but that's irelevant. The story would've been good, if they had FINISHED it. It's just like Inuyasha's ending (not the final act), we will keep on fighting until we claim the holy land! Then the credits roll... Seriously what's the big deal? I didn't watch the whole anime to get a stupid ending... See full review
This is a short review, don't expect deep analysis on the anime. Contains slight spoiler, though not enough to ruin the experience. Yosuga no sora is an ecchi anime with each female character (except for one) having her own arc. It basically works like Amagami SS. The ecchi level in this anime is quite high, though not enough to be called a hentai, sex scenes are shown with censor. Therefore young kids and sensitive teens (the kind that feel uncomfortable with sex related stuff) should avoid this anime. The animation is quite standard, nothing worth noting here. The music is well done, with some beautiful... See full review
I don't give long reviews, so just read this and be done with it quick. K-on is one of my favorite animes because of its cute story and fun characters. When I say story, it doesn't really have one. Just random events that somehow relate. At least I didn't feel stupid watching the plot (As with some other slice-of-life animes) Of course, the anime is about music, so obviously the music is top notch and the seiyuus do a excellent job at bringing the characters to life. We've got Yui the air head, Mugi the rich girl, Mio the hot babe, Azunyan the Saimoe champion 2010, and Ritsu the asshole (Jk). Since... See full review
Personally, I hate giving long reviews and I believe some of you hate reading long reviews too. So just use this short review as a reference. This anime is recommended for people who enjoy slice of life, comedy and supernatural. Also the fighting scenes are cool too, but don't expect too much of it. The beautiful story and the soothing music also adds appeal to this anime, with the exception of some lack of details of certain characters. Overall, this anime stands out as one of its kind. At least give it one episode before deciding not to watch.
