King of Bandit Jing

on Jan 5, 2010

StoryI highly disliked Jing. Of all the series I've watched so far, I have seldomly experienced such hardships struggling to make it through a show. I'm not saying the official site review is bad, not at all, as this is largely a matter of personal taste. I just thought it could be useful to present another perspective; not everyone thinks this show is awesome. As for the story, because it's almost entirely episodic and random, there isn't really one. Watching Jing, I discovered that I hate episodicness. I totally didn't care about what happened or what was going to happen, because it was random... See full review

Wolf's Rain

on Jan 5, 2010

It was really unfortunate, because I still had to go through about 500 pages of scientific English, but after reading one particular review I felt attracted to this new series and a few days later at midnight, just a few hours before the exam, I found myself finishing the main part of the series (I still worked myself through the entire book and passed the exam somehow... Death Note

on Oct 26, 2009

StoryWhat is the truth about human nature? Do we have the right to make decisions about the lives of others? Are we actually capable of taking justice into our own hands? If you are starting to feel uneasy, this is the kind of question that Death Note will keep firing at you personally, for about 37 episodes. Luckily for some of us, although these questions are important underlying themes in DN, the serie actually centers around the chemistry between the two male leads, Light and L. Light is a brilliant but bored student who, as the series progresses, starts showing more and more signs...
