Unfortunately,I haven't gotten around to Clannad yet,but I plan to watch all of it and Clannad AS this weekend.
I like all of Taiga's facial expressions in general,especially when she smiles or is embarassed (I guess I like her nicer side better). I think Angel Beats was too short,they could've developed the other SSS members.Theme of SSS is one of the most epic songs I've heard in an anime.
It's not like Ayu's arc was bad,it seemed to me like it came out of nowhere,although I did think something was odd about her "school"
True true i did hate on a lot of things on my blog and i am sure my words won't change anything. Yet haters gonna hate right? Personally i enjoy a bit of fanservice myself (i am a guy after all) but when it is not excessive. The protagonist stumbles upon a girl changing, im all in. When the protagonist starts "falling" all over the girl in almost every scene, starts to become boring and finally when we see girls near naked all the time (e.g High School of the dead), then it just takes all the mystery out of the female's form. In other words, there is nothing left to look forward too, we have already seen everything she has to show dozens of times (wow, that came out sexist...didn't mean it that way) :P
It's not that i specifically targeted Air, Clannad and Kanon. They just happened to meet the criteria perfectly. I actually enjoyed Kanon. My issue is with big eyes. Innocent girl looks are used way too often and they are a cliche. As soon as you see big eyes, you can be sure of either one of these two things:
1. The girl is a chaste, pure, virgin princess
2. She will eventually become dependent on the male
I have not seen any single anime where this was not the case. Vampire Knight, Kanon, Shuffle, Shakugan No Shana (the first season) etc...
Thanks. :) You've guessed right, I value the music of an OP more than the video most of time. However, the video is certainly also a bit important for me...
I also agree the OP of Higurashi Kai was nice, though. The lyrics and music were great.

WOOOO!!! Got my hard drive back from my cousin who put 1.14TB of anime on it. Cannot wait to smash as much episodes as I can...
