I liked animated things ever since I can remember. My first "proper" anime was Chobits, back in 2006. I also love movies, TV shows, books and video games, so I don't have as much time for anime as I'd want, but I try to watch at least 2 episodes a day. I'll watch anything that looks interesting. I don't have any preference in genre, the only exception being ecchi which I try to avoid. Though, not all ecchi is bad, and I don't mind it if the series is really funny or interesting. (btw: asking me why I don't like ecchi is like asking a straight guy why he doesn't like yaoi) I guess I'm also getting too old and bitter for stereotypical shoujo series.
I'm not a sheep, so I won't rate something 5/5 just because it is considered to be the best. On the other hand, I'm prepared to give high ratings to shows that might not objectively deserve it, but keep me fully entertained and make me forget reality exists.
