"To greet you in the most courtly manner: Hi!" -LORD SION ASTAL: THE LEGEND OF THE LEGENDARY HEROS
Um so, I am Soccerlove180. Please call me Pheeda, it's like my ultimate nickname. =P
AND I <3 ANIME GIRLS
So I first fell in love with anime when I was about three or four years old. Oh, those were the days... XD Nothing but watching ANIME and studying easy math problems. (To be honest half of the anime I watched way back than probably have not even made it on my list though) and here's a few anime that I do remember watching: Sailor Moon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Dragon Balls Z, Orphan, Saiyuki, Rave Master... (and I'm sure there're others, which I don't really rememebr, most of the list above are only very slight memories or an episode here and there *Shurgs*)
And so here's the list of my top-five favorite anime right now: (and remember this will change in the near future ;) so keep an open mind)
1. SWORD ART ONLINE (SAO)
2.BLUE EXORCIST
3. CLANNAD: AFTER STORY
4. MUTO (TV)
5. THE LEGEND OF THE LEGENDARY HEROS
I'm a girl who: likes to take long walks and jog as often as I can. I just love to be outdoors! To put things the short way, I'm a girl who loves to exercise. I love being as active as I can. But when I'm taking it easy, I enjoy staring up at the stars or watching spiders (XD). If I'm not outdoors enjoying the fresh air, I'm sitting inside my stuffy room watching anime! Reading manga! Or maybe I'm listening to music while I write meaningful story ;) I just love music!
My all-time favorite ANIME-GENRE is: COMEDY. (If I could I'd have made COMEDY my number one, two & three favorite genres!)
My most preferred ANIME-LENGTH is: 12-13 episodes (Although lately I've found myself enjoying must longer anime XD)
Mostly I love anime this length because there are far too many anime out there to always be tied down by just one. AND 12-13 episodes gives me just enough time to fall in love with the characters, before moving onto something totally new. If I really love an anime series, I can always look up more about it later (generally, they have sequels or ova’s to go along with such anime, even if that sequel... isn't out yet).
MY GOALS ON THIS SITE ARE: to meet more people like me! To keep track of all my anime findings + ratings. To be able to write great, insightful anime-reviews. To get a few followers on my blog. And most of all, to just fall in love with as many anime as possible, while knowing there is something else waiting for me just after the last episode. XD XD
MY AVATAR IS OF: FA MULAN
Well, I just recently restarted my Blog up. So feel free to look it up and read through it. I'd love to hear some positive feed-back, if possible, on any of my posts. I'm even taking topic-discussion-suggestions.
Thanks for reading! XD

Sounds like a nice quiet New Years. I know what you mean I see most of the old disney movies as classics that I grew up on so I don't believe them to be childish either.
Yeah meeting up with my friends was great and I can't really complain as i haven't seen them in about 4 months so it was a good catch up. One of my friends loves anime and manga maybe even more than me. I know he has seen alot more anime than me even though I was the person who introduced him into it. For example I think he was telling me that he finished all 500+ episodes of One Piece in just over a week hahaha... but while he was here he told me about some of the series that he watched while he was away so I have a few more series to check out.
Yeah after I watched Sword Art Online I thought theres not going to be many series that are as great as I found this anime, so I completely rewatched it as soon as I finished haha, still unbelievable I love that anime. Brave10 I have seen that and I really enjoyed it aswell. I like animes where the main character is a tough fighter and just gets stronger throughout the series.
I always enjoy the opinions of other people if it means that I see the series that they really enjoy, without opinions from other people I probably would of missed out on the Clannad series and Kanon.
Out of all your recommendations the only one I have seen is Itazura na Kiss and I loved that anime =)
Other than that I have heard quite alot about other ones on that list. Skip Beat seems like everyone I talk to on this site they say Skip Beat is one of their top anime so I'm definitly going to have to check that one out now. Howls Moving Castle is one of the anime's that my friends said he watched and he couldn't stop talking about it so I'm watching that soon.
My only Problem with watching Ouran High School Host Club is that its "classed" as a Reverse Harem, which I don't hate but I perfer not to watch those types. Do you think that just because it's like that it will put me off the whole series?
Other than that thank you for the recommendations *bows head* I will definitely be checking all of these out but since it's ranked first I guess I'm going to start with Skip Beat.
Your New Years sounds fun =P
Well, a couple of my mates that had been away at college all year finally returned to our hometown so we spent a week just relaxing around my place drinking and catching up. They had been here since boxing day and only just left now so its been quite a tiring week, hehe.
Now that the Holiday season is closing I can finally start sitting down and getting through my list of anime that I have to watch. Just the other day I finished Sword Art Online and believe that it is probably one of the best/ if not THE best anime I have ever seen, I now see what all the hype about it was, it was truely an amazing series.
I have been trying to surf through different anime/manga sites to find some good Romance series, if you happen to know any good romance anime/manga could you recommend to me please? =P
Sorry for the late reply =P
My Christmas was pretty much exactly as I expected me and alot of family members getting drunk hahaha. Was good to catch up with people I haven't seen for a while now. I just have to get through New Years with my mates then I have a whole month of nothing but anime and manga (I can't wait XD)
Over the christmas break I actually managed to buy some more manga that was cheap. I managed to get another 4 volumes of Bakuman which means I now have from volumes 1-14, I also picked up a few new Naruto volumes, now have volumes 44-59, and I also found the first 4 volumes of High School of the Dead in Full colour so I'm pretty happy with my purchases at the moment.
I have also begun to watch some of the anime series that aired at the beginning of the year, such as Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai which so far is a really good anime.
Do you have any plans for New Years?
Ah I'm very similar, I have a tendency to judge manga or anime based on what they look like which makes me miss out on alot. I look at it a bit and they just give them a miss, then several months later I find the same manga and start reading only to find that its good, funnily enough I did this to the manga Suzuka, which at the time I thought didn't appeal to me only the finish the whole series in one night and found it amazing hehe.
I come from New Zealand which is a really hard place to find actual manga books as it's not so big here so I buy my manga online. Although I don't have much hard copies of manga I still perfer to read a book than a computer screen. Sadly alot of the manga I would love to buy is not serialized in English so finding them is really hard, for example if i could buy the Noblesse Books available in English I would totally buy them instantly, but sadly it is only available in Korean. =(
Clannad was actually one of the series I watched in English and Japanese and I suprisingly enjoyed it, I thought the voice actors did a pretty good job, especially Nagisa's voice actor I thought it was very well done. But again as soon as I watched the Japanese with English subs I found it soo much better because their voices just seemed to match the characters perfectly =P
Yeah Naruto and Bleach pretty much ruined Eng Dubs for me so now I really tend to avoid them unless I have no choice cause Subs are messed up or if someone reccommends me to watch in English. Naruto has gotten very good in the newer updates but I think I perfer the manga to actually watching it now, as I have been a Naruto/Bleach fan for a long time but I always perferred Bleach because I thought the action scenes were alot better but it's still a great anime.
You and me both hehe =P.
I started learning Japanese in first year of high school but then the subject was dropped to not enough students willing to learn so I missed out. But when I started college and really started becominig a hardcore anime/manga fan I decided to self-teach myself Japanese, which is easier said than done. I wish there was someone that could help me hahaha, I guess things like languages are easiler learned when young and have a decent teacher haha. So far I havent got very far as English is my Dominant Language trying to make Japanese make sense in terms of English Grammar is verrry hard hehehe. =P
You Rock!
Reading a good manga for the New Year sounds cool =)
My friend is amazing when it come to watching a anime that he is really into. Finishes the whole series soo fast XD. I wish I could do that, I let my anime want-to-watch list get too big as you can see now haha =P
Yep definitely recommend watching Sword Art Online, story was amazing, characters were great, animation beautiful, perfect anime lol.
I'm also like that when I see a good looking anime on a AMV I instantly try to find it and watch it. I have even tried to make some AMV's but have not mastered how to used Sony Vegas yet so I'm still learning. =)
I'll definitely be checking Skip Beat soon as soon as I'm done with my current series. Haha you're rambling is making sense so you know it's not like your completely off track =P
Thats great that I could still possibly enjoy it even though it is a Reverse Harem. The reason I don't like Reverse Harems probably doesn't even have anything to do with a Reverse Harem series. It's just that I once tried reading a series that was "classed" as a Reverse Harem and started as one but then slowly moved into Shounen-ai which I'm not against but I don't like it.
Pretty silly story if you ask me since it might of just been tagged wrong.
It's the same with Gender Bender, I am very cautious about those types because I have had some bad experiences where the story starts turning Shounen-ai/Yaoi and for me I can't read them. I do like some of the Gender Bender series but unless someone has read it and told me that it's safe I will not look at it.
At first I wasn't really a big Harem fan as it wasn't so much that I didn't like all the Girl characters surrounding the Boy character, but it was more that the boy character always acted like a wuss. In every Harem anime I watched alot of the time I hated the main male lead. But then I saw a few good ones so I eventually started watching and reading them again. (Now I just gritt my teeth when the male lead pisses me off XD)
I'll give you my thoughts on Skip Beat once I'm finished =) and please don't mind me about all the talking in these messages haha, I enjoy sitting down and talking with people that are as Hardcore into my hobbies as I am =)
