I had a really hard time rating animes before I came up with my personal ratings system. I would give just about everything I didn't love and didn't hate a 3/5 rating. Now, it is easier for me. I see how I feel about an anime when I am rating it, match it up to the feelings in my ratings sytem, and give the corresponding rating. Makes things a lot easier and more consistent. *laughing* I hate the "what's your favorite anime?" question, because there are soooo many I've enjoyed and it really depends upon my mood at the time! I have a favorite from many different styles but cannot really compare these favorites against one another.
(I'm on a personal quest to find my anime Holy Grail - the anime to which I can happily give 5 stars. Before, I never would give out the lowest or highest ratings to any anime - no 0.5/5 or 5/5 ratings because I didn't believe any anime would be THAT perfectly horrible or that awesomely good. However, joining the DTAB club on the site proved to me that some anime REALLY IS that horrible, and caused me to give some 0.5 ratings. Which, to me, means that there's GOTTA be some 5/5 anime out there.)

Comments to another member (such as your response here to me) are best posted on the OTHER member's profile page, instead of posting the reply on your own page, as you have done here. To reply to someone, you should post your message on their profile page (which you can get to by clicking on their avatar picture or Nickname link.)

In general, other members won't be reading the comments on YOUR profile page - those are for you to read. They will read the comments on THEIR profile pages. (The section on your page for others to read is the biography/profile section at the top of the page.)

So, often if you post your response to another member on your OWN page, they can't get back to you with another comment, because they won't know you responded to their comment... For instance, below, I hadn't previously seen your reply here...
