Heh, to be honest he was polish and called Hubert, funnely enought I bumped into a old Polish friend of mine called Hubert (you guys must breed Huberts). But in all honesty I have a book beside me that a Polish friend gave me,please, Im Not A Racist!!
Appologies for that appology, as you now it's only the White Guilt in my DNA that makes me claim that I'm not a racist at every ethnic joke I say.
I can deffinetly say that same about how I feel about Cowboy Bebop, if you watch closely you can notice tiny details like even refferences to the Gulf War that was going on during the anime (its even in the music). A ton of movie/music refferences from Charlie Parker to David Bowie.
Loving LotGh, on fault wise, my friend cant stop pointing out moments that defy physics! But no a briliant show but I feel it only get's better.
On a completely irrelevent topic have you heard of Yowamushi Pedal? I think I'm living n that anime. I had to choose wether to go to my first con in 2 1/2 years or my first bike race. Been starting to cycle to college for past 2 years (not to brag I just needed to tell someone)
P.S. Sorry for eating up all of PinkyIvan's text.
(note to self: do NOT mention Hubert, who is currently painting the hall landing!)
Nha its all right, have two Polish friends myself :P
And yhea god, I havint seen an anime this good since Cowboy Bebop. (wich was one of my first). I'm trying to watch it in moderation but it's incredibly tempting to binge on it. Either the choreography or story thats doing it for me. Also a great crash course for Romantisim music for myself.
Glad to here it, love can be hard to find in this contemporary life.
I see that you are from Scotland, perhaps we can have tea some time and discuss the decline of the royalists and English annaxation of our countries, past and present.
Or perhaps you dont want to play that was and spoil LotGH for me, it's your game.
a snob is someone who thinks they are better then others.
If you will ever be in the mood for a real puzzle book check out Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe. It takes symbolism, foreshadowing and prose to a whole new level. I don't call things masterpieces very often but this book left me jaws wide open. Other books I've recently read (besides Do Androids) are I am Legend (solid book with a great ending), 5th Head of Cerberus (a great novella about a boy who is being druged by his father every day for years) and Hero of our Age by Ljermontov (awesome book, one of the best I've read this summer, magnificest character portrayal).
