Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to anime (compared to a lot of people, anyway). I began with Nausicaa a few years back and...well, went on a long scavenger hunt from that point, but I finally have my tastes down (only took five years). If it's dark, psychological, gritty, and filled with angst I'm bound to love it. XD Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! And if you just feel like talking, feel free to send me a message. I don't know many people who watch anime, so I'm more than willing to chat. :)
Oh, and if you recognize the character in my avatar, let me know! She's one of my favorite characters from a little-known video game. It always makes my day when someone recognizes her. :)

Shounen huh.....Have you tried Naruto? The style of show is really similar to Bleach, and they're alike in many ways (although the Naruto fanbase is kind of scary and full of fan girls, the show is great). Also, One Piece, which is again similar to Bleach, but has more comedy. Also look into Gintama, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Rurouni Kenshin. They're all great shounen titles!

Personally, I didn't like the Bounto arc. However, I'm not the type of person who says to skip "fillers". If you love the show, you'll still like this arc, end of story. It's still Bleach, and still has the great characters and fights. I think myself, and others, just don't like how it goes away from the main story line. There are a few small characters introduced, and some abilities showed, so it's still interesting.
So yes, I would recommend you watch it. If you don't like it after a few episodes, you can always skip it.
